Client leadership and development

• Build and maintain client relationships at the Manager and Director level.

What a Senior Director for QR Center of Excellence does at Visa:

As a lead of this Center of Excellence you would be responsible for:

• Championing Visa's QR response to diverse market segments including: (a) mature markets where QR participation has reached a scale, (b) markets situated on the threshold of substantial expansion, and (c) nascent markets that are at the early stage of QR adoption. Across these markets you will establish a QR participation framework for domestic as well as cross border QR payments.
• Internally, you would engage with senior executives of Visa such as Product and Merchants Sales and Acquiring leadership teams, Corporate Strategy, Group Country Managers. Visa is establishing it’s Centre of Excellence in Singapore which will spearhead Visa’s QR participation in this growing trend. A dedicated team will provide strategic direction, thought leadership, product and execution support, best practices, and oversight for QR based payment for Visa. While Asia Pacific region will be its operating and learning ground, the remit of this Center of Excellence will be global. This team will templatize its learning in the region and help shape market responses globally. The person in this Director - QR Product Management position is one of the team members of this CoE and, will be responsible to managing Visa’s QR product and report to the lead of Center of Excellence based in Singapore. 

What does a Director – QR Product Management does at Visa:

In your Product Management role, you will be is responsible for guiding the success of a QR product. This is a techno-commercial role spanning many types of activities, from strategic to tactical. The key expectations for the role are:

• You will be the subject matter expert on QR product. On a proactive basis you will often play the role of training and mentoring staff and, on a reactive basis you would be their go-to person for QR related questions or, problem solving.

As a Director of Issuers solutioning and Alias Commercialization, you will be a leader who understands the strategic, commercial, and technical considerations to accelerate Visa Direct card network acceptance and adoption of Alias payments across Asia Pacific.
