General Job Description
The Consultant reports to the Head of Enterprise as well as the Innovation Team to identify business
opportunities in the marketplace, conceptualise solutions and bring it to the market.
At the same time, his/ her primary responsibilities lie in sales and account management to ensure revenue
target achievement.
Responsibilities
x Sales and Marketing
9 To achieve and co-deliver the revenue target of S$300,000 in 2024/25. Target will be
pro-rated for 2024.
9 Perform all sales activities to both new and existing clientele
9 arrange appointments with teachers, Head of Departments, HR Managers, which may
include pre-arranged appointments or regular 'cold' calling
9 make presentations to prospective clients in the education and training sector
9 build and maintain positive working relationships with clients
9 manage budgets for trainer, course materials, transport, miscellaneous
9 keep detailed records of all contacts
9 reach, and if possible, exceed, annual sales targets
9 win new customers, as well as developing long-term relationships with existing ones
9 plan work schedules and weekly and monthly timetables with the sales team and discuss
future targets with the sales director
9 regularly attend company meetings, trainings and briefings
9 keep up to date with the latest training programmes in the market, and interpret, present
and discuss this intelligence during schedule meetings
9 analyse sales data to improve results and make sure resources are effectively allocated
9 monitor competitor activity and competitors' products
9 keep up to date with new developments in policies and industry landscape, anticipate
potential negative and positive impacts on the business and adapt strategy accordingly
x Project Management
9 plan, execute and project-manage training programmes effectively
9 coordinate with programme directors/managers for manpower, logistical as well as
administrative needs for all programmes represented
9 communicate expectation of clients to programme directors/manager and trainers
9 assist clients with administrative support for project delivery
9 conduct post programme/event reviews
x Reporting and Recommendations
9 Meet with the Head of Enterprise at least once per month for updates and reporting
x Brand Development (STEM Education)
9 Provide market feedback to company leadership regarding competitive offerings and
prospect needs, generating product development ideas.
9 Source new business opportunities.
9 Evaluate new products, solutions, and business development opportunities.
9 Take ownership of brand development activities.
9 Plan and coordinate the implementation of new products/solutions, business plans, and
market penetration strategies.
9 Create innovative new products/programs to differentiate the group from competitors.
9 Work with the Head of Enterprise to create and implement strategic sales and marketing
plans that achieve business objectives.
9 Monitor competitors’ products and relevant sales and marketing data.
9 Use available data to forecast sales and set appropriate performance goals.
9 Conduct market research and analyze results to align brand strategy for maximum
success.
9 Represent the business at major industry events, conferences, trade shows, and
expositions.
9 Maximize company profits and avoid market stagnation.

9 Meet with the Head of Enterprise at least once per month for updates and reporting

9 Recommend service recovery actions and intervention measures if necessary
