This role involves coordinating the instrumentation of a 65-meter tower in a pristine peat swamp forest will micrometeorological sensors to monitor water vapor, carbon dioxide and methane exchange at the ecosystem scale. We hypothesize that, given its undisturbed state and the thick peat layer, this peatland functions as a net carbon sink. Validating this hypothesis would provide novel evidence of active carbon removal from pristine peatlands in Southeast Asia.

This position offers a unique opportunity to engage in field-based research within a pristine tropical peat swamp forest. ● Key Responsibilities

Job Description:
