Broad Function

The Engineering Assistant (Logistic & Automation) shall reports to the Engineer and assist in the execution and management of FM services, such as operation, maintenance, modification, replacement and activities under Logistic & Automation engineering systems and non-clinical equipment (such as Pneumatic Tube System (PTS), Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV), Pneumatic Waste & Linen Chute System (PWLCS), Food Waste Treatment and Vacuum System (FWTVS), Centralised Sterilised Supplies Department Equipment, Food Services Department Equipment and mobile equipment). In addition, the incumbent shall provide support to audit and monitor the prescribed KPIs of the maintenance services rendered by the specialist vendors and outsourced maintenance service provider. Key Responsibilities and Duties

Specific

1. To assist in overseeing preventive & corrective maintenance scheduling & coordination work. Manage Maintenance Agent day-to-day works for logistics and automated systems and equipment etc.
2. To assist to oversee the performance of outsourced maintenance service provider and specialist vendors to ensure good maintenance standards are maintained and planned PM schedules are met.
3. Ensure prompt service recovery for any breakdown of equipment and systems to minimize disruption to hospital service operations.
4. To assist to oversee and coordinate improvements projects to the hospital services and facilities as well as upgrading of systems and equipment components.

Job Requirement

BROAD FUNCTION

To maintain a high level of service at Patient Services Centre (PSC).

You will be part of the Patient Experience Office and will:

(A) Oversee front-of-house and PSC daily operations.

(B) Provide support to ground staff in maintaining the level of service for patients and to ensure Patients’ information are kept up-to-date and compliance with personal data protection act (PDPA).

• Assist to review and update workflows, standard operating procedures, work instruction and business continuity plan (BCP) for the efficient running of services and excellent patient experience.

Systems

• Credential trainer for NGEMR system.
• Train new joiners on usage of NGEMR system, ensuring proper usage adhering to WH PDPA policies.
• Review and revise user access matrix to ensure that all users are still valid and relevant access is granted to perform the role.
• Support and operationalize the change management for work processes pertaining to NGEMR.

Patient Care / Relations

• To identify and help resolve patient service issues encountered by Patient Service Associates (PSAs).
• Crowd management and mobilize manpower, if necessary. This includes working with Supervisor in the daily operational needs.
• To “walk the ground” to ensure that a consistent high level of service is maintained.
• To be first point of contact for escalated feedback and complaints, provide resolution and improve work processes and operational efficiency where applicable.

VIP Management
