Scope

• The Accountant/Senior Account Executive, General Ledger (GL) is responsible for providing support to ensure effective, efficient and accurate financial reporting for a portfolio of companies.
• Work closely with the rest of Finance team to ensure consistency and best practice is developed and maintained across the function, proactively driving the ongoing improvement of business practices and performance across Finance function.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for period-end closing activities such as GL Journal entries, bank reconciliation and ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing of accounts.

Job Requirement

What you will be working on?

Responsibilities

• The WSHO is responsible for overseeing and carrying out all works relating to the Safety, Health and Environmental matters in the project.
• Liaise closely with the Project Managers on workplace safety, health and environmental issues to maintain a high level of safety at the sites
• Ensure overall compliance and good procedures/ practices in statutory environmental and health requirements at project site and requirement premises at all time
• Conduct regular site inspections and follow-up actions to ensure environmental compliance
• Preparation and submission of reports
• Ensure safe work procedures implemented to control risk.

Requirements

• Registered with MOM as WSHO, ECO
• At least 5 years of experience as a WSH Officer with LTA projects
• Good knowledge of WSH Act and other WSH related compliance
• Must possess a WSQ Specialist Diploma in Safety & Health, or relevant degree

• Operate the Combined Cycle Power Plant safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established operational guidelines to meet output requirements.
• Prepare for, execute, and monitor the startup, shutdown, and routine operations of generation units and auxiliary systems.
• Carry out condition monitoring, review operating parameters, and correct deviations to maintain optimal plant performance.
• Identify, report, and rectify all system, plant, and equipment defects.
• Ensure adherence to the plant’s generation dispatch schedule, conducting operational tests and inspections as required.
• Respond to plant emergencies, equipment failures, and outages.
• Manage generating unit operations and maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety measures and specifications.
• Monitor work areas and inspect tools and equipment to detect and prevent unsafe conditions or violations of procedures and safety rules.
• Prepare daily shift log reports and other operational reports.
• Liaise with external agencies (e.g., EMA PSO, PUB, NEA, SCDF) on operational matters during shift duty.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or an equivalent discipline.
• Knowledge of plant processes, operations, and safety protocols.
• Relevant experience in power plant operations, or related industries, is advantageous.
• Possession of a 2nd Grade Engineer (Steam) Certificate of Competency or a 1st Grade Engineer (Steam Combustion Engine) Certificate of Competency awarded by the Ministry of Manpower is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Maximo EAM or equivalent software.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, self-motivated, independent, and a team player.
• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts.

What you will be working on?

• Work with PR agency to formulate a media engagement and publicity plan for programmes to garner media interests and promote positive awareness branding.
• Assist in the management of Non-Digital Media Buy such as advertising on TV, Radio, Out-of-Home publicity, etc.
• Assist in conceptualising and development of possible creatives for event collaterals, branding visual, publicity kit etc
• Assist in project management including planning, organising resources and execution of programmes/events.
• Liaise with vendors on purchases/services required, both internal and external
• Assist in procurement and monitoring delivery of goods and services.
• Assist with the documentation, collation and analysis of data, and generation of project reports and presentation slides, if any
• Provide logistic support and manage event productions, both pre and post, including working outside office hours

• Quality control of on-site execution of programmes and capture learnings from the project for sharing at project After-Action Review (AAR)

• Key member in Accounts Receivables department.
• Check the supporting documents for the issuance of credit notes. Follow up with Customer Service/Sales for any selling price discrepancies.
