Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for timely submission of monthly /quarterly accounts with analysis.
• Responsible for submission of GST, Budget forecast, tax returns
• Monitor, review annual financial statements and ad hoc financial reports prepared by accounting staff
• Supervise, direct, and review the work performed by accounting staff / subordinate (including, but not limited to, bank reconciliations, accounts receivable transactions, credit control, fixed asset activity, payroll, accounts payable transactions, debt activity, recording of revenue and expenses, etc.)
• Makes and implements recommendations to improve accounting processes and procedures and compliances
• Enhance efficiency of accounting processes
• Liaise with auditors and tax agents, secretarial agents, and others
• Overseeing a team of accounts staff under Account Payable

Requirements:

• Professional accounting degree, with IT experience preferred
• Ability to collaborate and work well as a team member
• Meticulous with good analytical skills
• Ability to effectively direct supervise, and to work independently, with little supervision
• At least 3- 5 years’ supervisory experience
• Bilingual in English & Mandarin to deal with Mandarin speaking suppliers
• Hands on experience with accounting software, including advance MS Excel skill
