Job Description

1. Provide excellent client service and ensure deliverables timelines are met.

2. Setup charts of accounts for new accounting clients.

3. Responsible for billings, fee negotiations and recovery for each client engagement.

4. Review Management Accounts, customized reporting packages, Statutory Accounts, GST returns, monthly payroll and other expense disbursements, as well as year-end remuneration returns (Form IR8A, etc.)

5. Prepare Cash Forecast to avail funds for payments and prepare bank reconciliations

Responsibilities:

Transactional / Document Processing

• Processing of accounting documents (vendor invoices, billing customers, etc) in accordance with SLA timeline accurately.
• Validation and submission of softcopy documents to centralised team for processing (vendor invoices, staff reimbursement, etc.) as per timeline.
• Compile documents and filing (as required).

Payment Processing (to vendors and from customers)

• Processing and update of both vendor and customer payments according to agreed turnaround timeline schedule.

Month-End Closing (including Reporting)

• Monitor and ensure all transactions complete within stipulate timeframe for smooth closing activities (including preparation of month-end reports, as required).

GST Preparation and Reconciliation

• Preparation and complete monthly GST computation and reconciliation record as per timeline.
• Ensure monthly MES documentations are prepared correctly in compliance to IRAS rule.

Vendor Statement of Accounts Reconciliation

• Preparation and submit completed monthly statement reconciliations for approval.

Volume Extraction & Generation of Reports

Main Purpose of Job

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting or related field in Finance. CA is preferred.
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in finance and accounting, including tax, with sound strategic planning and management experience.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in APAC with multinational organizations, particularly Japanese MNCs.
