The Senior FP&A and Accounting Manager, Asia reports to Sr Director of Finance, Asia.

This role will oversee Asia FP&A and Accounting teams and be responsible for leading

and scaling the people, processes, and systems that grow the insights and support that

finance provides to Asia business operations.

Responsibilities

• Be the Asia regional level FP&A lead in the ACV, CARR, and other key top-line metrics planning and forecasting for Asia businesses in connection with the annual planning and quarterly forecasting processes, including GM scorecards, product and market analytics, monthly service forecast reviews, service profitability analysis and service variable comp prep.
• Work with Sr. Director of Finance Asia to drive scalable and consistent processes to enable operational excellence in business planning, forecasting, reporting, and deep insights/analytics for Sales and Strategy
• Be the key contributor in Global FP&A BI initiatives, includes: Alteryx work flow expansion, working side by side with US FP&A BI lead to design and build key data structure in NetSuite and Databricks and deliver top 5 key business reports in Tableau in real-time by the end of FY24.
• Maintain and develop (as needed) technical accounting policy, procedures, and internal controls in accordance with US GAAP and SOX
• Quality review of the work of accounting supervisor an Sr. GL accounts in month-end, quarter-end and year-end accounting closes.
• Ensure quality, accurate and timely financial reporting for local statutory audits and direct and indirect tax filings.
• Develop and manage a team of 8 financial accountants and analysts located in Shanghai and Tokyo

Requirements

• 10+ years experience in an Sr. Accounting and FP&A role in multinational companies in SaaS sector.
• Master’s degree or equivalent in accounting, economics/finance-related majors
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and China GAAP

• Assist to prepare audit programs in accordance with the audit plan and to ensure audit programs are properly executed.
• Examine, evaluate, review internal activities and ensuring compliance with established Group policies and procedures.
• Examine systems and procedures to ensure appropriate internal controls are in place to manage critical business risks and to gauge for possible improvement measures.
• Provide mentoring to junior staff.
• Responsible for auditing higher risk areas such as inventory control and manufacturing.
• Any other ad hoc duties assigned.

Requirements:

• Degree holder from related fields
• Possess 5-6 years in internal audit with good understanding of risks and control
• Prior experience from mid-tier audit firm with internal audit experience is welcome
• Willingness to travel
