The role is to support daily and monthly task for Finance department in Singapore.

What you'll be doing

• Handle day-to-day business cases in the area of account receivables, account payable, bank posting and booking of invoices in accordance with the directives;
• Prepare cash book and book incoming receipts & outgoing payments in our accounting system;
• Check and ensure accuracy of our out-going invoices issued;
• Perform reconciliation and arrange payment for payable for local vendor and handling account queries, if any;
• Monitoring GST and COD collection, sending monthly SOA to all customers & agents;
• Prepare and update weekly AR ageing reports;
• Clarify query invoices with client accounting and our operations department;
• Generate monthly report for account receivables and payable by deadline given;
• To support Finance Manager for month-end closing process and year-end auditing;
• To take up additional assignments/tasks as required to meet with the Company needs.

About you

• Good interpersonal and communication skills;
• Proficient in MS office (excel, powerpoint, words, etc.).

Key Responsibilities:

General Ledger Management:

• Maintain and update the general ledger with accurate and timely entries.
• Ensure all financial transactions are classified correctly into respective GL accounts.
• Monitor and reconcile subsidiary ledgers (AP, AR) with the GL monthly.
• Review and correct journal entries to ensure alignment with accounting policies.
• Maintain and monitor prepayments, accruals, and depreciation schedules.

Bank and GL Reconciliation:

• Perform monthly bank reconciliations, resolving discrepancies promptly.
• Reconcile GL accounts to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial data.
• Identify and correct errors or omissions through adjusting journal entries.

Job Description:

Requirements:

· Minimum Diploma in Accounting & Finance/Business Administrative

· At least 2 years working experience in accounts role.

· Good knowledge and hands on experience on general accounting system is preferred.

· Mature and self-motivated

· Good interpersonal skills with ability to interact with all level of staff, handle cross department issues and participate actively in staff/operation meetings.

· Independent and hardworking.

• To act as the key, day to day client interface, ensuring that client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time and cost targets and the appropriate quality standard.
• Delivering the overall project management in ensuring the quality, cost, statutory, safety and environment issues and project scheduling requirements are met.

You would be given a great opportunity to gain exposure to the full spectrum of finance and the opportunity to work directly with the head of finance. In return you will enjoy a remuneration of up to $90,000 per annum.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparation and checking of the Branch’s MAS regulatory reports and make adjustments, where required. Work with Head Office teams and system vendor to maintain an automated solution for MAS Regulatory Reporting.
• Assist with monitoring of daily regulatory ratios and requirements for the branch (e.g. Asset Maintenance Ratio, MLA & MCB) and preparation of the daily regulatory reports.
• Assist with preparation of journal entries and detailed subaccount ledgers. Ensure adherence with Accounting Policy and Head Office requirements including performing checks on invoices and receipts for payments.
• Review of Nostro reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of unreconciled items.
• Assist the Department Head in taxation matters, including corporate tax computation and GST related matters.

Knowledge & Experience Required:

• Experience in Singapore bank regulatory and financial reporting preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business.
• Good Excel skills.
• Able to work independently and with multiple stakeholders.
• Positive attitude, good team player and willingess to collaborate within and across teams.
