Responsibilities

• Manage the maintenance and daily operations of the DC facilities with the objective of achieving uninterrupted availability at all times and to ensure the fulfillment of our service commitment to customers.
• Support service delivery to ensure contracted service level agreements and key performance indicators are met or exceeded.
• Perform routine facilities activities including inventory control. Critical systems checks and functional testing. Able to respond and take action in response to facilities crisis management activities including: power outages, fire alarms, HVAC outages. Analyze data and identify trends with facility issues to determine root cause and take appropriate action.
• Respond to BMS/EMS alerts, investigate and feedback on any outstanding issues or events and respond to emergency situations and be on standby duty as required.
• Provide technical support to all aspects of data center operations including the operation, maintenance and repair of all mission critical equipment and systems supporting a 24x7 data center operation to achieve 100% uptime and 100% compliance with all customer SLAs.
• Assist in all site construction activities and installations, in coordination with external contractors to ensure system design, installation and testing adhere to operational standards. Witness testing of all equipment during commissioning and validate sequence of operations and receipt of all operational documentation.
• Support for customer installations, in coordination with the design & construction as well as operations requirements to coordinate customer move-in and turn-on, and other service request & deliveries.
• Maintain compliance with local workplace safety & health (WHS) standards and local electrical and building codes.
• Ensure adherence to all standard operating procedures (SOP), method of procedures (MOP), and emergency response procedures (ERP) established for the critical environments, as well as the formal change control process.
• Participate in the scheduling, coordination and completion all significant planned and emergency maintenance events for the facility and ensure these activities are executed in a controlled and proven method to ensure the reliability of the critical loads supported by these systems.
• Support various accreditation, certification and compliance initiatives such as BCA-IDA Green Mark DC/QMS/ISMS/BCMS/PCIDSS/OSPAR, etc as may be required.

• ITE/Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering or equivalent qualification

Responsibilites

•  Consideration of planning to optimise the utilisation of full time auditors
•  Ensure that overall scheduling (recertification, surveillance, RFA and any special audits) is managed according to the scheduling KPIs
•  Minimise the cost of scheduling specialists and subcontractors when FTEs are available
•  Safeguard attrition rate by supporting recertification sales in pre-scheduling existing clients
•  Extract the key information in Tableau system for maintaining certification lists to be recertified (send reminders for recertification sales so no client is missed)
•  Participate in monitoring operation performance as per TQR
•  Ensure advanced scheduling for all certification audits and training based on KPI
•  Scheduling and coordinating the planning for key accounts client pertaining to operation needs and the coordination of required audits until the completion of the required assessments
•  Handling RFA requests from other BV counterparts worldwide for performance of audits locally and within the region if needed
•  Liaise with auditors (both FTE and Associates) for scheduled and planned audits
•  Confirmation of schedules with clients and monitoring support for recertification sales preventing attrition
•  Support technically in verifying the posted approved auditor's technical codes as basis for auditor assignments through Siebel
•  Optimisation and management of Siebel systems for scheduling and monitoring operations related performance
•  Coordinate with BV Certification commercial team to allocate auditors, manage the corporate schedules for large contracts and liaison to other BV counterparts
•  Support to RCL scheduling assurance of availability of file approvers accordingly
•  Ensure correct reflection of billable activities for correct invoicing
•  Monitoring of auditor utilisation
•  Reporting of achievement of KPIs set by TQR
•  Support the coordination of approvals of auditors competency and witness planning for accreditation requirements, 17021 requirements and other regulatory support requirement
•  Ensure the administrative support is provided when necessary
•  Maintain excellent relationship with customers and peers
•  Any other duties deemed necessary and appointed by superior

Role Profile

The Assistant Engineer shall be responsible to provide timely response, escalation and resolution to all incidents, outages and performance alerts. This includes the monitoring of 1-Net’s facilities and network infrastructure and systems performance.

Responsibilities

• To perform 24x7 rotating shift duty for NOC and Network Operations.
• Changing of backup tapes based on predetermined schedule
• Preparation and compilation of team and customer weekly and monthly reports
• Process internal and external service requests including physical access, DNS changes, MS, x-connect and etc.
• Inventory Management for physical network infrastructure, x-connect.
• Provide remote hands service and onsite support to internal and customers
• Liaising with end users and vendors/Telco providers on network implementation, requirements and maintenance support
• Manage vendors or contractors in Meet-Me-Room, Cabinets and Client premises when services are required
• Responsive to troubleshoot and solve L1 Data Center and customer network issues
• Perform physical network infrastructure deployment and cross connect provisioning for internal and customers requirement
• Report to Telco Helpdesk for suspected circuit problem.
• Maintain concise and up-to-date network documentation including: Network inventories, processes, policies and procedures
• Collect and manage the statistics collection and application from the network systems
• Generate accurate and informative network analysis reports such as traffic utilization and network uptime reports
