It offers undergraduate, honours and postgraduate programmes in communications and new media studies, with an innovative curriculum that introduces students to key debates in the areas of media and communication studies, communication management, interactive media design and cultural studies. Its students undertake industry immersion through its compulsory internship programme. The selected candidates are required to instruct a total of five (5) courses each academic year. Teaching responsibilities will be within the Communications and New Media undergraduate program and/or Master by Coursework programs. Additionally, successful candidates are anticipated to fulfill service roles within the department. The expected commencement date for this position is August 1, 2024.

Qualifications

Successful candidates must have good Honours degrees in communications or a closely affiliated discipline, skills and expertise in the relevant field by the appointment of start date. A genuine enthusiasm for working closely with students and a dedicated commitment to fostering student learning are indispensable qualities. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Meticulous attention to detail. Proficient in computer applications such as MS Office and PowerPoint.
