Duration of the attachment:

6 months.

• Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
• Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions.
• Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements.
• Establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.
• To receive and process all invoices, expense forms and requests for payment (AP & AR).
• Posts financial data to appropriate accounts in an automated accounting system, according to instructions.
• Review documents such as purchase orders or records in order to compute charges due.

Responbilities:

· Handles full set of accounts and ensures timely closing (month-ends and year-end).

· Responsible for daily transaction posting (AR/AP/Others) and all finance operation matters.

· Handle receipts, payments, claims, and records into the accounting system on a timely basis.

· Checking workers timecard & process for workers payroll.

· Prepare GST return and submission.

· Maintains fixed assets ledger and other schedules.

· Assist in audit queries from external auditors

· To undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

. Diploma in Accounting or higher.

. Knowledge in construction project accounting will be an added advantage.

· Experienced in using UBS accounting software preferred.

· Minimum 3 years experience in an accounting role.

· Meticulous and able to work independently.

· Organized, accurate & thorough.
