You are expected to be familiar with local safe work practices as well as to develop a good understanding of the system design. You are required to work closely with contractors to manage and monitor the project deliverables as well as in ensuring the safety, quality, and progress of the project works. You will be involved in reviewing and managing project risks and cashflows as well as issuance of engineering instructions and conduct assessment of projects variations/ payments/ claims. You will collaborate with various parties, i.e. contractors, designers, architects, stakeholders from different agencies and appointed Railway Operators to ensure that the projects are well coordinated.

• Tertiary qualification in Electrical and Electronics Engineering / Computer Science / Computer Engineering

Job Scope:

· Month-end Closing including, but not limited to:

- Journal Posting

- Reconciliations/Audit Schedules (except AP & AR)

- Preparation of quarterly GST reporting schedules

· Month-end reporting, including system submission

· Assists in Monthly forecast/ semi-annual budget/ annual mid-term budget planning

· Customer & Vendor Master Maintenance

· Preparation of company income tax computation/ schedule

· Fixed assets management (Addition/ Transfer/ Disposal/ Write-off/ semi-annual sighting)

Requirements:

You will play a lead role in managing the Contractors to supply, design, install, test and commission the Integrated Supervisory Control System (ISCS) / Supervisory Control System (SCS) and Maintenance Management System (MMS) at MRT control centre, depot, stations and trackside for new MRT Lines and extension/enhancement to Existing Lines. You will be responsible for the safety, quality, progress and environmental impact of the Contractors' works. You will be part of a team involved in the renewals of the existing LRT systems, including the managing of contractors involved in designing, modifying, supplying, installing, testing, and commissioning of the LRT systems. You will review contractors’ submission and provide insights and comments for improvements to these submissions. You will be participating in the installation, testing, and commissioning of the LRT systems thereby ensuring functionality of the systems are delivered. Some of these activities may be executed during engineering hours at night.

You will also be collaborating with various parties such as contractors, designers, architects, stakeholders, and the appointed Railway Operator to ensure effective project integration and address any operations or maintenance matters. You will also assist in reviewing system related submissions, providing insights and comments for improvements to the design, installation, testing, maintenance, and operations of the LRT systems.
