Sales Executive

Star Concord is currently looking for Sales Executive to join us in our expanding business.

• Working Hours: 9am - 6pm/ 5 days week

• Central/ West, Alexandra (Near Labrador Park Station)

Sales Executive Job Duties:

· Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and understanding the needs of the potential customers; recommending solutions.

· Cold call to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business.

· Present company’s services favorably and in a structured professional way face-to-face.

· Respond to incoming email and phone enquiries.

· Make accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations.

· Liaise with overseas agents to check on the shipping charges, rules and regulations for the respective countries.

· Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information and guidance.

· Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information.

· Review own sales performance, aiming to meet and exceed targets.

· Attend team meetings and share best practice with colleagues.

· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements:

· Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate/NiTEC.

· No working experience related is required but if possess 1-2 years of experience in the in Freight Forwarding / Logistics would be an advantage.

Job Description / Duties:

• Manage full spectrum of General Human Resource matters
• Design and create learning resources, training materials and e-contents
• Implement and execute training plans and conduct trainings as well as post-training evaluations
• Handle internal talent acquisition and other recruitment related duties
• Administer work pass application, renewal and etc
• Ensure the organisation in complying with local relevant regulations
• Handle General Administrative Duties
• Provide support to the various departments
• Ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma / Degree in Human Resource or Business - related fields
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• Experience in Staffing / Recruitment industry will be added advantage

Responsibilities:

• Verify the accuracy of all invoices received from overseas agents against the system.
• Reconcile Statement of Accounts (SOA) with counterparties and send SOA to counterparties for verification.
• Facilitate group settlements, including collection and payment on behalf of the organization.
• Process bank receipts and ensure timely and accurate recording of transactions.
• Execute payments via Telegraphic Transfer (TT) or Fast Payment methods.
• Handle Singapore Customs related financial transactions and documentation.
• Manage Accounts Receivable in both USD and SGD currencies.
• Monitor and process receivables via cheque payments.
• Maintain oversight of the organization's bank position and ensure liquidity management.
• Review and address Overseas Unconfirmed SOA reports.
• Prepare and distribute SOA Overseas Reports as required.
• Generate monthly volume reports to track financial performance.
• Compile Monthly SIN-Profit Reports to analyze profitability in the Singapore market.
• Prepare monthly Profit and Loss Job Reports for management review.
• Ensure compliance with GST filing requirements.
• Assist with ad-hoc financial tasks and projects as needed.
