Responsibilities:

• Manage existing customers and develop new business (Asia Pacific).
• Develop sales strategies for assigned products together with the Manager and execute them.
• Compile market intelligence reports.
• Analyse competitors’ sales activities.
• Prepare reports (meeting minutes, weekly sales reports, forecasts, budgets, variance analyses etc) and PowerPoint presentations for management.
• Manage customer issues (inquiries, feedback e.g.)

Requirements:

• Min. Diploma or Degree in Chemical Engineering/Material Science or related field.

Your new role
As a Senior Accounts Executive in a lean team, your role encompasses a unique mix of operational accounting scope with some Financial Planning and Analysis. This includes:

- Day to day financial accounting processes

The incumbent will support the Foundation’s delivery of healthcare service through the processing of vendor invoices and payments, assisting in inventory & FA management.

Key roles include the followings :

• Responsible for invoice and payment processing
• Review and check vendor invoices received. Update to Purchase Orders/ Purchase Journals in financial system. Ensure expense code, department code, project code and fund codes are captured correctly.
• Liaise with vendor and internal party to follow up and resolve discrepancies between invoiced amount and receipt amount.
• Process approved vendor invoices for payment via Giro and/or other E-payment mode and send payment advices to vendors.
• Generate monthly vendor ledger listing to facilitate the reconciliation of vendor ledger to their Statement of Account.
• Perform monthly review of existing Purchase Orders to ensure that purchases of goods are delivered and invoices are duly received by Finance.
• Prepare general ledger journal and monthly closing activities.
• Prepare bi-weekly cashflow projection and monthly reports including creditors' aging, outstanding PO and accruals schedule.
• Review journals, reports and reconciliations prepared by peers.
• Assist in FA and inventory management duties including inspection exercises.
• Assist in annual audit, asset, inventory and cash counts when required.
• Participate in Finance system enhancement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Certificate / Diploma /Bachelor in Accountancy or Accounting/Business related discipline
• 2-3 years of Accounting/Finance experience

About the Role:

This position is an integral part of the team and is mainly responsible for Financial Reporting, Planning & Analysis and Treasury functions. He/she need to also perform other duties, ad hoc assignments and projects as assigned.

Roles and responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis

• Prepare actual and budget/forecast financial reporting and presentation.
• Preparation of monthly and budget/forecast hyperion reporting for submission to Region Finance.
• Perform variance analysis and document commentaries on financial results for the respective business and operation units.
• Partner with business teams to support business decisions & strategy.
• Ensure each business and operation units costs are being forecasted and accounted properly for before month end close.
• Assist to manage outsource service provider related to month end reporting package.

Intercompany transactions Management

• Possess overview of inter-companies recharges for the entity and ensure communications with accounting team members for recharging.
• Ensure agreements are in place and maintain inter-co agreement listings up to-date.
• Ensure recharges are accurately budgeted and forecasted in respective functions.
• Analysis of variances of actuals against budgets/forecasts.

Treasury Matters

• Support in preparing weekly and monthly cash flow forecast and daily cash flow report.
• Manage hedging operations, evaluation, and monitoring of daily rates.
• Support in other Treasury matters

Others

• Ensure compliance to Standard Operating Procedures, Policies, internal control procedures and accounting policies.
• Review existing processes and drive for continuous improvements.
• Perform other duties, ad hoc assignments and projects as assigned.
