Role Overview:

The Purchasing Executive at Eco Harvest will manage critical aspects of our supply chain, enhancing our procurement operations and maintaining effective supplier relationships. This role involves managing the entire procurement cycle, ensuring operational compliance, and collaborating across teams to meet business goals.

Responsibilities:

• Engage and negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and manage contracts.

• Oversee inventory levels and manage all procurement documentation from initiation to reconciliation.

• Accurately maintain purchasing, sales, and petty cash records within our accounting system.

• Address customer delivery concerns and manage logistics to optimize delivery schedules.

• Adhere to and enforce company procurement policies, ensuring all activities are compliant.

• Track shipments and work with vendors to rectify any delivery issues or discrepancies.

• Work alongside various departments to guarantee timely and accurate delivery of products.

• Evaluate suppliers and contribute to the decision-making process for vendor selection.

• Monitor budgets and conduct cost analyses to identify financial optimization opportunities.

• Spearhead initiatives to streamline procurement processes for better efficiency and cost savings.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or a similar field.

• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

• Superior communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; further training on company-specific purchasing software will be provided.

• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team.

• Familiarity with current procurement practices and market trends.

• Quality Control:Inspect received goods to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  Resolve discrepancies with suppliers promptly.
  
• Compliance and Documentation:Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
  Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier agreements.
  
• Collaboration:Work with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with organizational goals.
  Participate in projects that require procurement input.
  

Requirements:

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in purchasing or supply chain management is a plus.

• To perform preventive maintenance on machines & equipments bt cleaning, lubricating, greasing etc for optimization.

Job Description:

• Learning and Familiarising oneself with various systems and processes within the Company
• Replying to sales enquiries
• Vendor management
• Working on projects to drive both topline and bottomline of the Company
• Assisting your direct or lateral reports on other facets of the business as required.

Job Requirements:

• Singaporeans only
• Candidate should possess knowledge of basic business concepts
• Job role required to liaise with customers in english, chinese and chinese dialect, knowledge of English, Mandarin Chinese and Chinese Dialect is essential.
• Required Skill(s): Microsoft Office
