Job Responsibilities:

• Provide financial reporting services and prepare client financial statement packages for clients and properties.
• Apply cash and accrual accounting principles to prepare, analyse, maintain and deliver complete and accurate financial reports in a timely manner.
• Undertake financial analysis and variance commentary in monthly reporting packs.
• Create and post journal entries; ensure that all expenses, receipts, owner's distributions, funding requests and other transactions for the accounting period have been accurately posted.
• Perform month end reconciliations for GL and TB including accruals and prepayments.
• Perform bank reconciliations for all bank accounts within the portfolio.
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting, for existing or new property and client transitions.
• Participate in property tax calculations.
• Coordinate and participate in year end audits for the portfolio.
• Maintain property billings including rental, recurring and sundry charges; assist in managing arrears collection
• Process payment runs including funds requests.
• Preparation of GST schedules for quarterly lodgement.
• Other responsibilities and tasks assigned from time to time.

Requirements :

• A minimum of 3-5 years prior accounting, finance or related experience required.
• Experience with real estate accounting software (MRI / Yardi) preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Able to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers and to effectively present information.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and possess initiative, and at the same time can thrive in a team environment.
• Able to meet deadlines of the portfolio's requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Support key strategic initiatives and projects to drive the development of Own Brands business at the strategic and portfolio level. Including generating key market and competitive insights, financial and commercial performance reviews, product portfolio development work, and yield management work.

Responsibilities:

• Safeguarding New Products Launch and Margins:
  • PIC overseeing the progress, and timeline from product sourcing to launch. Responsibilities include impact tracking to budget, flagging risks impact, working with sourcing and Brand managers to derive a mitigation plan to close the gap, and providing builds that align with OB ambitions to business case development.
  • Work with Commercial and Sourcing Managers on supplier cost increases and propose pricing for products by performing key analysis on GP impact, Sales &Volume impact, pricing competitiveness, and competitor trends.
• Strategic Initiatives:
  • Perform analysis and develop business insights to support team members in the development of portfolio strategy- eg: pipeline of new product development, assessment of product life cycle, price/ promo analysis, and market landscape across brands and categories.
  • Support day-to-day activities on management of key strategic initiatives from project scoping and planning, tracking of deliverables, problem solving on key outstanding items, impact tracking, execution of supplier transition

• Degree in Business Administration, Management, Social Science, or equivalent.
• Relevant experience from the Retail/ FMCG industry is preferred.
• Good understanding, hands-on experience in core project management skills - e.g. project scope planning, task management, milestones tracking, and impact reporting
• Strong communication skills (spoken and written), interpersonal skills, and partnering skills- comfortable with building consensus and collaborating at all organisational levels in achieving desired results and objectives.
• Good appreciation of business processes and outcomes, as well as the ability to identify potential areas for business improvement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Business acumen- Good appreciation of business and financial principles and ability to translate commercial strategies into executional, operating goals.
• Proficiency in utilizing technology and software tools to drive transformation initiatives - e.g.: Microsoft Office suite, particularly MS Excel, Power Point, and Google Suites.
