Job Description:
1) Tour arrangement (issue ticket, coordinate with land operator and book hotel rooms, restaurants and attractions directly)
2) Ensure datelines are adhered to (deposit, full payment, issuance, promotion)
3) Assist product planners to watch costing closely (profit & loss, land & ticket costing)
4) Update OB system and to give clear instructions to facilitate counter staff for sales and follow up
5) Solve operational problem and maintain good working relationship with airlines and overseas suppliers
6) Liaise with the airlines, overseas ground tours and transportation operators for travel arrangement for groups.
7) Familiar with airline booking system Amadeus, handle travel operations including reservations of tours & hotels, air ticketing, travel coordination and staff support
8) Provide assistance on pre and post departure requirements
9) Any other ad-hoc tasks that may be assigned by the Company from time to time
10) Participate in travel fairs/roadshows
Criteria:
1) Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level and preferably Diploma in Tourism from a recognised Polytechnic
2) Preferably minimally 5 years of working experience in Outbound Operations of a TRAVEL AGENCY
3) Meticulous administrative and operational skills
4) A proactive team player who is able to work in a fast-paced environment
5) Required to communicate in English and Mandarin (written and spoken)
6) Service-oriented with good interpersonal skills
7) Knowledge of MS Office
8) Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and able to handle work pressure.
