Job Responsibilities

Risk-related Management

• Check and review annual risk management plan against identified group major risks by HQ.
• Check and review risk assessment items, categories and situations based on direction from HQ and Manager.
• Liaise with respective internal division/group to review risks within the company.
• Report status to Manager.

Compliance-related Management

• Review and update Authorisation Standards according to HQ requirements and/or local requirements, with/to Manager.

• Implement, review and update rules, policies etc.

1. Reviews based on updates from HQ, and local updates/regulations
2. Ensure internal rules and policies of relevant division/group in the Companies are aligned and in compliance.

• Implement, Review, and update requests from HQ

1. According to requests and/or requirements from HQ implement, review, and/or update for related topics and/or tasks.
2. Liaise with relevant division/group, where required
3. Report the results and/or status to Manager

Management of Audit / Internal Control

• Conduct annual internal control documentation checks for relevant Companies, with
• Manager
• Prepare Report status to Manager

Educational Awareness

• Review, Prepare materials aligned with relevance to requirements and/or updates from HQ or in accordance with local regulations.
• Conduct annual educational awareness sessions for refresher and/or share updates.
• Report to Manager
• Any other duties assigned by Superior or by Company.

SPECIFICATIONS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education and Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in Arts/ Science / Business Administration from a recognised tertiary institution

• Practical Experience:

Min. 3 years Of relevant working experience or display high interests in risk management and compliance sectors.

• Professional Business Skills:

1. Good all-rounder. Communication skills / Negotiation skills / Analytical skills
2. Able to interact with people from diverse background.
3. Able to work with diverse team of differing culture and able to communicate and grasp concepts and ideas well.

DESCRIPTION

· Handle allocated vessels for procurement arrangement.

· To work closely with the Superintendent Engineer directly for the procurement and supply of goods and services to vessel/s as assigned by the Procurement Manager.

· To maintain the following:

- A full record of all requisitions received from the vessels;

- Coordination with Superintendent Engineer on requisition received from vessels;

- Initiate enquiries with company approved suppliers;

- On receipt of quotations make price comparison of the supplier and present the data to Superintendent in-charge for approval;

- To generate Purchase Orders in the system and send to Supplier and to get their acknowledgement of receipt of order.

· To arrange dispatch of stores/spares in close coordination with Superintendent Engineer through the most economical way but always keeping in mind urgency of goods required on board.

REQUIREMENT

· Good written and interpersonal communication skills

· 2-5 years experience with Ship Management Company

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of financial accounting records, AR and AP Management, Reconciliation
• Ensure timely financial reporting for month end and year end
• Lead year end activities by preparing audit schedule and financial information requested by auditors
• Ability to develop good practices, policies and procedures to ensure proper internal control for Balance Sheet / Profit & Loss
