The veterinary officer will report to the Attending Veterinarian and Directors' Office and work closely with the veterinary team and technicians.

The role of the veterinary officer is to be responsible for, but not limited to the following:

• Ensure the welfare and health of research animals including rodents and fish
• Prevention, alleviation and minimisation of pain and distress of animals
• Provision of scientific research support, information, and services
• Development of animal husbandry systems and facility operational management
• IACUC responsibilities
• Education of scientific, animal care and ancillary staff
• Any other exigencies of duties as directed by the Attending Veterinarian, Directors, or senior BRC staff

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Veterinary Science or Veterinary Medicine with eligibility to apply for an AVS veterinary licence.
• Prior work experience in research animal facility is not required but will be considered favourably.

Role Description

This full-time on-site Admin/Acc role is located in Singapore and requires a candidate to provide administrative and accounting support to our establishment. The duties include but are not limited to managing invoicing, ordering, and other regular administrative tasks.

Qualifications

At least 1 years of experience in a similar role

Knowledge of accounting principles and experience in accounting software

Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration

Diploma in Accounting(Singaporeans only)

Proficient in Microsoft Office
