THE POSITION

Title: Accounts Assistant

Report to: Accounts Manager

Responsibilities:

• To handle the day-to-day accounting activities
• Responsible for accounts, post journal entries, maintain accurate records and supporting documentation
• Responsible for the preparation of Accounts Receivable & Payable on a timely basis
• Liaise with creditors and debtors when required
• Assist in monthly/quarterly/year-end closing of accounts
• Perform any other task as assigned by the Accounts Manager

Requirements:

• At least a Diploma in Accounting or its equivalent
• A minimum 1 year of relevant experience is preferred
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency
• Conversant in Microsoft Office applications and/or NetSuite ERP accounting software will be added bonus

Job Description

▶Assisting with the maintenance of AR/AP accounts in MYOB and Excel schedules

▶Assisting with creation of invoices & receipts

main duties
