The Animal Rescue Officer (ARO) is responsible for ensuring timely and efficient rescue operations for injured, lost, abandoned animals. • Inspect materials and workmanship of construction work.
• Perform tests to check the quality of materials.
• Review project drawings and specifications, and raise any discrepancies and/or potential problems to the appointed Qualified Person and project consultants/clients
• Attend meeting with qualified persons and project consultants/clients
• Prepare progress reports for their clients.
• Other ad hoc duties as and when directed

Job Requirements & Person Specification (Qualifications, Experience, Skills):

• Diploma/Degree in Civil & Structural (C&S) Engineering
• Ideally already accredited as a C&S Resident Technical Officer (RTO) by Institution of Engineering Singapore (IES) or Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES)
• Certificate in BCSS (Building Construction Safety Supervision) or other similar construction-safety certification
• At least 2 years of experience as a Resident Technical Officer (RTO) or similar site-based role (e.g. Site Engineer) for Housing Development Board (HDB) / Land Transport Authority (LTA) construction projects

Responsibilities:

• Prepare safety document (RA, MS, SWP, FPP).
• Arrange SIC.
• Renew OSHAH.
• Submission of document to relevant authorities.
• Site survey, coordination, and meeting.
• Support Workplace safety matter at job site and perform relevant duties as and when assigned by the superior.
• Maintain proper records and documents required by the relevant authority.
• HDB, MOM matter.
• Lifting gear renewal.
• Dormitory matter and house keeping.
• Other ad-hoc duties.
