Your Day-to-Day Adventures

• Process and review invoices, payments, and expense claims accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ensure proper documentation and authorization of payments in line with company policies and relevant regulations.
• Perform regular reconciliation of accounts payable, supplier statements, and bank accounts to maintain data accuracy and integrity.
• Respond promptly to supplier and internal inquiries related to accounts payable matters, resolving discrepancies and providing support where needed.

• Assist in month-end closing activities by preparing relevant reports and documentation, contributing to overall financial accuracy and compliance.

Perform full set of accounts ensuring timely and accurate month end closing

Handle day-to-day finance and accounting functions (i.e., accounts receivable, accounts payable and other accounting functions)

Record and manage transactions, accruals, prepayments and finance costs

Perform bank reconciliations and quarterly GST reporting

Prepare required schedules and reports for yearly audit and tax purpose

Requirements:

Min. Diploma/Degree in Accounting or its equivalent

At least 2 years of experience in Accounts and Accounting software like Tally/Navision

Job description:

The scope of work for the above job title includes, but is not limited to, the following:

• General Accounting: Handle day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable and general ledger entries.
• Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation and closing of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Bank Reconciliations: Perform bank reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Tax Compliance: Preparation of GST returns and ensure compliance with local tax regulations
• Audit Support: Prepare schedules and provide necessary documentation for internal and external audits.
• Financial Documentation: Maintain accurate financial records, filing systems, and documentation in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Ad hoc tasks: Support the finance team with ad hoc tasks as needed, including reporting and analysis.

Requirements

• Education: Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. o Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero, Oracle NetSuite) and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy. o Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. o Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Language: Fluent in English (both written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with GST filings and tax compliance in Singapore.
• Knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards.

Working Hours: 44 hours per week

Monday to Friday : 8 hours per day

Saturday : 4 hours (After successful completion of probation period, you will have the flexibility to work from home on Saturdays)
