Work Location: Marine Parade / Marine Terrace

Working Hours: Mondays to Thursdays: 7:30am to 1:30pm nclusive of 30 mins lunch break, Fridays: 7:30am to 3:30pm inclusive of 1 hour lunch break.

Contract Period:1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025

Job Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the daily operations of science labs, science gardens, aquaponics, hydroponics, and the pond.
2. Manage setup, cleanup, and general maintenance of science laboratories and science areas.
3. Ensure cleanliness of the Recycling Corner.
4. Prepare laboratory apparatus, equipment, and materials for scheduled activities.
5. Assist with stock-taking and equipment maintenance.
6. Type worksheets and notes.
7. Support departmental events, activities, and programs.
8. Perform other duties as assigned by the school.

Preferred Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

1. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
2. Capable of operating electronic devices, such as hydroponics systems, aquaponics, and other science-related equipment.
3. Able to perform gardening tasks, including weeding, planting, and watering.
4. Ideally, have over 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in a school setting.
