Scope of Services:

In the Area of Teaching and Learning
1. To prepare and get ready resources for Science teaching and learning
2. To assist Science teachers in the setting up of experiments, etc. for Science lessons and/or activities and clearing of resources after each Science lesson and/or activity.
3. To assist in the setting up of ICT and Science equipment such as projector, iPads, dataloggers, and microscopes for Science lessons and/or activities
4. To perform yearly inventory and stock taking of Science resources and equipment in the 2 Science Laboratories and TinkerSpace.
5. To organise the Science resources and equipment in the 2 Science Laboratories and TinkerSpace.
6. To maintain cleanliness and assist in ensuring safety in the 2 Science Laboratories and TinkerSpace at all times.
7. To assist in conducting simple Science enrichment activities such as showcasing the life cycles of some animals and creative toys during designated recesses / Science school-based events to complement Science learning in the classroom.
Science Projects
1. To assist in the loan and yearly inventory and stock taking of resources in various Science Programmes e.g.TinkerSpace Programme, Science Sparkles, E2K-Ignite Programmes, etc.
2. To assist the department in monitoring the Aquaponics System including feeding the fishes and harvesting the produce.
3. To assist the department in the feeding and maintainance of the Mealworm Beetles, Stick Insects Enclosure, etc.
4. Must be able to comfortably handle ‘live’ specimens e.g. mealworm beetles
Others
To do any other duties as assigned by HOD Science.

Qualification, Skill & Experience:

1. Minimally ‘O’ level qualifications
2. Must have at least 2 years of working experience as a Science Laboratory Assistant/ Laboratory Technician
3. Proficient in MS Excel

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify and delegate responsibilities to associates to ensure objectives are met and excellent service is consistently achieved.
• To ensure that the required food and beverage profit margins are achieved for each outlet in each financial period.
• Effectively manage all outlets in the absence of the F&B / Restaurant Manager.
• Effectively update the duty roster if any change has to be made.
• Authorized to sign for casual labour payment vouchers.
• Manage weekly casual labour requisition forms.
• To ensure all outlets are sufficiently stocked to minimum par levels.
• To ensure all stocks are arranged in First Expire First Out procedure.
• To ensure daily walk through for engineering defects.
• To ensure all operating equipment are in good working condition.
• To conduct weekly breakage report with stewarding.
• To train staff on menu, service style, controlling wastage and phraseology.
• To attend daily HOD meetings in the absence of the F&B / Restaurant Manager.
• Recommending employment, promotion and dismissal of employees.
• Compiling, in liaison with the kitchen, menus for the various outlets and for special occasions.
• Manage operations with passion, integrity, and knowledge while promoting the culture and values of Dao By Dorsett.
• Implement new company policies and procedures by developing plans and instructing associates.
• Provide direction to associates to achieve Food & Beverage revenue budget goals.
• Consistently review operations and associates to identify any problems, concerns, feedback and opportunities for improvement.
• Provide coaching and feedback together with the F&B / Restaurant Manager to associates and assesses performance on a monthly basis.
• Create a positive guest experience by delivering a high level of service and ensuring all associates engage guests to understand their needs and exceed expectations.

Scope of work

• Handle telephone calls and inquiries from stakeholders

• Pack brochures, booklets and souvenirs for staff and students

Qualifications, skills and experience:

• GCE 'O' Level

• 3 years in administration

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel

Job Purpose

• The case management officer reviews patients (inpatient and outpatient) and assess suitability for enrolment under Cardiac Rehabilitation Programme (CRP). These include assessing, coordinating and implementing care, teaching and counselling plans to help patients and their families with more complex needs to adapt to changes.

• The case management officer is also responsible for clinical practice and patient education in the nursing specialty / subspecialty.

Primary Responsibilities

• Identify patients through proactive screening daily.

• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates, conducts counselling and teaching for patients and their families/caregiver.

• Provides patient/family information and education on disease process, causes of disease conditions, health education on risk factors, nutritional counselling, smoking cessation advice, exercise & coping strategies at home following discharge.

• Ongoing collaboration among patient, family and a multidisciplinary team to provide valuable connections.

• Refer patients to various need or department accordingly (e.g. Dietician/ Physiotherapist/ Smoking Cessation Counsellor)

• Screen, coordinate selection and recruitment of patient into the outpatient Cardiac Rehabilitation Programme (CRP)

• Schedules outpatient Pre-Rehab Assessment Clinic follow-up appointments when appropriate

Outpatient CRP (Heart Rehab) – Clinical

• Referral can be from heart clinics, wards, self-referral, etc.

• Triage the referral, contact patient for more information, ensure correct referral to appropriate exercise rehab program with sufficient time allocation for patient’s visit to respectively physician/therapist appointment booking.

• Check and highlight clinic / CRP orientation appointment list for enrolled patients.

• Coordinate and assist in Pre-Rehab Assessment clinic and schedule Post Rehab Clinic at the end of the program with post program parameter.

• Input the information into the Rehab Clinic database

• Assume responsibility for data collection and entry into CRP database system.

• Coordinate patients’ access and treatment sequence where required for the specialty.

• Tele-care to reschedule patient’s appointment date when defaulted outpatient follow up

Outpatient CRP (Heart Rehab) – Patient Education

• Conducts nurse-led specialty education session for patients and their families.

• Plans, implements, and evaluates in-service talks and specialty training courses based on unit and individual training needs

• Ensures patient education and counselling is carried out according to established standards of care and practice using the approved teaching materials.

• Applies understanding of prevention of medico-legal issues in relation to patient education.

• Assists to review and develop patient education materials in consultation with doctors and paramedical staff.

Outpatient CRP (Heart Rehab) – Operations

• Ensure daily operations of these service points, including administrative/operational matters and partnering Clinic Manager to solve system and process problems.

• Handle purchase, work requisition processes and calling suppliers for quotation.

• Ensure sufficient supply of related educational material / stationery requisition and other equipment maintenance are maintained.

• Updates and maintains patient consultation/CRP training statistics and CRP support group.

Secondary Responsibilities

• Acts as a resource person to nurses, nurse manager / nurse clinician on matters and issues for the specialty.

• Assist and coordinate hospital educational talks and external talks / workshops / forums / seminars.

• Participates in quality improvement / research projects.

• Participates in training /quality improvement / research committees.

• Assume any additional responsibilities as assigned.
