What the role is

The Carbon Mitigation Division (CMD) administers the Energy Conservation Act and the Carbon Pricing Act to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions from the industry and household sectors. • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent. A relevant degree in Business analytics, marketing, or business discipline is desirable
• Fresh graduate, or with six months/ one year experience in a market research agency
• Background or experience in Social Media marketing and monitoring is a plus - identifying valuable metrics, KPIs, and social media benchmarks; performance reports creation; data interpretation from social listening tools such as volume, sentiment, conversion drivers, influences, etc.
• Background in developing quantitative analyses, custom models, and ad hoc reports to effectively monitor performance, trends, and opportunities for key brands within social media channels
• Strong command of cross-tabulation tools (e.g. SPSS) is a bonus.
• Proficient in at least one programming language, preferably Python or R
• Experience in data visualization platforms like Tableau, Qlikview, PowerBI, etc.
• Data Engineering or Data Analysis experience is a bonus
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Powerpoint and Google Spreadsheet & Slides.
• Research and project management experience desired
• Experience in leading conference calls and dealing with clients
• High level of written and spoken English
