Your Role at a Glance:
As a Purchasing Administrator, you will play an essential role in supporting smooth procurement processes, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and success of the hiring company's purchasing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Purchasing department to enhance operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of purchasing documents for vendors, subcontractors, and service providers.
- Assess vendor and service provider performance based on established criteria.
- Ensure compliance with the hiring company's purchasing policies and government regulations.
- Manage supply chain processes, including issuing purchase orders and handling shipment clearance.
- Oversee outstanding purchase orders and delivery schedules to ensure smooth operations.
- Compile and generate monthly inventory and purchasing reports to provide valuable insights.
What They’re Looking For:
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in purchasing or procurement.
- Proficiency in MS Office Excel and SAP.
- Strong knowledge of vendor sourcing practices.
- A positive attitude with excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
