Manager / Senior Manager, Private Wealth Strategy & Solutions
Be part of the Southeast-Asia (“SEA”) Business Solutions team that work on high-impact projects in the private wealth sector, providing a combination of strategic development, solutions design and cross-functional project management to formulate product strategy, prototype new products and verticals, execute product expansion and improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Understand the financial goals of high-net-worth individuals ("HNWI") and capital markets / wealth management solutions (such as structured products, alternative funds, capital markets and credit products, asset allocation approach) and keep abreast of the latest development in the financial markets, especially in the private wealth scene.
- Formulate product strategies (opportunity sizing, product roadmap, strategic analysis) that cater to the needs of HNWIs, backed by synthesising customer needs, industry developments, and in-depth peers benchmarking in alignment with the firm's growth objectives.
- Assess the company's current retail offerings and identify opportunities for upgrade, customization, digitisation or automation that cater to the client experience and needs of HNWIs. Be able to conceptualise the to-be state of new product/vertical launch and product enhancements, define the scope of work required to ensure the competitiveness of new products.
- Collaborate with external providers to identify high quality new product offerings that would appeal to HNWIs. Collaborate closely with internal global and local stakeholders, including technology teams and sales/marketing teams, to drive alignment on new opportunities and drive execution from solutions design, development, MVP launch and post-launch iterations.
- Proactive in managing risks and key dependencies to ensure research and new product initiatives are delivered on timely basis.
- Support the team in discussions, due diligence and negotiation processes with external strategic partners.

Requirements
· Minimum 5 - 8 years of experience in product management / product strategy role or similar role in the private banking or wealth management industry; strong preference for candidates with prior experience in management consulting firms or internal strategy functions
· Have experience dealing with high-net-worth individuals and possess strong knowledge of financial products (structured products, alternative funds solutions, capital market products)
· A fast learner with strong background in analytics, strategic thinking, and ability to structure issues and problem solve, ability to run research studies independently to drive recommendations
· Highly adaptable and ability to shift between high-level strategic development to hands-on execution; results driven and ability to manage cross-functional teams toward milestones, while also able to work well independently
· Solid communication skills including executive level communication / reports; working proficiency in spoken and written English and Fluency in Mandarin is an added advantage (other Southeast Asia languages would be a plus)
