About the Design Innovation Team

The Design Innovation team is a group of world-leading interdisciplinary designers, technical professionals, and researchers leading the world of design. The Design Innovation team functions to develop fundamental and ground-breaking results in design science as well as to fulfil the mission of a better world by design through a porous interface with industry, government, and social projects. This interface allows for a seamless integration of empirically grounded design methodologies that directly lead to outcomes with positive impacts at the social, media, and technological levels. You will be part of the University's Office of Admissions, to provide support during student's admission exercises:

Responsibilities:

• Respond to emails, phone calls, and in-person inquiries related to Admissions
• Manage scheduled phone calls through Novocall System
• Coordinate and schedule appointments with inquirer
• Attend to walk-in enquiries, and re-direct to other Admissions Officers if needed
• Maintain high standards of customer service and adhere to communication procedures and standard operating guidelines
• Assist in updating frequently asked questions (FAQ) for email enquiries
• Provide logistics support for campus visits and admissions events
• Carry out other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Possess at least Diploma certificate
• 2 - 3 years of customer service experience and/or education industry

Job Description

• Educational research interest in interdisciplinary studies, including but not limited to STEM education, engineering education
• Able to do literature review and summarize the main findings from the literature
• Able to do qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis including but not limited to field observation, interview, systematic literature review, video analysis, statistical modeling, SEM, HLM
• Monitor project progress, draft the reports, and manage (e.g., data tools, curriculum exploration)
• Organize PD sessions for teachers in the local and international settings
• Disseminate the outcomes of the research including in peer-reviewed academic publications of international standing
• Assisting with educational research (e.g., STEM education) proposals preparations, as well as seeking and pursuing appropriate external funding in these areas

Job Requirements

The Research Assistant / Senior Research Assistant will conduct research in deep learning and Artificial Intelligence, perform experiments, and publish research papers in top-tier venues.

Qualifications & Experiences:

• Bachelor's / Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field with a focus on computer vision, and an advanced level of understanding and expertise in the field.
