• To guide consultants and review their design to ensure the design adequacy to meet the relevant requirements and preferences of the contract.

• Strong writing and presentation skills.
• Strong in planning and documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with consultants to align design drawings with regulatory requirements.
• Create technical submissions for materials, construction methods, and structural shop drawings
• Address construction issues on drawings and maintain close communication with Architectural, M&E teams, and regulatory authorities.
• Evaluate and propose solutions for technical challenges, while planning, monitoring, and reporting the progress of shop drawing production
• Oversee a team of BIM Modelers responsible for generating coordinated shop drawings and Concrete Body Plans.

Requirements:

• Min Degree in Civil Engineering or it's equivalent
• At least one year related working experience
• Professional Engineer registered with the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore is an added advantage
• Have familiarity with British and Singapore Design Standards.

· Responsible for engineering, design activities for electrification projects i.e. design deliverable completion, clarification meetings with client, follow up with external consultants on submissions, vendors.

· Package lead with overall responsibility for the design and execution of electrical packages for traction power systems e.g. MV Switchgear, DC Switchgear, DC Trackside equipment, Power Converters, Power Transformers, Auxiliary systems.

· Support Design team in preparation of Cable List, Cable Termination List, Station FO network Diagram.

· Develop conceptual engineering, propose and implement Value addition engineering for the projects.

Requirements:

· Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification

· Has acquired strong foundation as an Project Engineer / Electrical Engineer in traction power systems with local project experience.

· Candidates with proven project management experience will be consider as Project Engineer.

· Minimum 5 years’ experience in the electrification projects for MRT projects.

· Good experience in AC and DC Electrification systems including Control and Protections.

· Added advantage for experience on Metro Projects using 750V DC System.

· Added advantage for simulation studies for DC traction power systems.

· Good experience in handling medium to high complexity of solution projects.

· Well verse of Local transportation operators and legal requirement.

· Adaptable to different working environments and customer working terms and conditions.

· Strong and effective communicator at all levels within the Business Unit and other Business units.

Responsibilities

-Collaborate with internal team in Singapore to engage with customers / consultants on a daily basis

-Prepare project documents including BQ

-Manage Design & Build projects
