Our Company:

We specialize in aluminium windows and doors, shower screens and other glass related products. We are looking for a meticulous and motivated aluminium designer/drafter to join our team. You will play a key role in delivering high quality solutions to our customers.

Responsibilities:

1. Design & Drafting:

- Design aluminium and glass solutions (For windows, doors, etc.)

- Creating cutting details/Bill of Materials (BOM) for fabrication and material purchase

- Drafting of shop drawings (e.g. autocad)

- Create purchase orders for required materials

- Attend site meetings or visits (if required)

2. Operations & Scheduling

- Manage daily rostering of work teams

- Oversee fabrication work and overall project coordination

- Conduct daily team briefings and toolbox meetings

- Support work teams as necessary

- Supervise stock monitoring and material orders

3. Ad-hoc duties on Operational Matters

Requirements:

- Responsible, with good organizational and communication skills

- Meticulous and comfortable with using technology

- Team player with positive attitude; willing to learn

- Good problem-solving ability

- Open to picking up new software and technology (ERP, CRM)

• Experience in design development, project coordination and contract administration of projects of various scale
• To assist the Project Lead in his/her duties under Project Management, Design and Technical submission
• Able to work independently and collectively in a team responsible for coordinating design related matters
• Handle client, stakeholders, collaborators and consultants throughout all stages of project from start to end
• Effectively administer the construction contract such SIA and PSSCOC forms of contract
• Lead the project team throughout design and construction phases and ensure methodical and thorough documentation

• Be familiar with prevalent regulations and codes governing construction and architectural practice

Job Requirements:

• Possess a minimum M.Arch, RIBA II or equivalent qualification.

• Knowledge of SIA and PSSCOC contract.
• Possess excellent design abilities, creative flair and great visual awareness.
• Possess excellent drawing skills with familiarity working in 2D and 3D design softwares. Example ability working in Rhino3D, Adobe softwares, AutoCAD, BIM, Revit and etc.
• Parametric and scripting skills will be a plus
• Possess strong individual work ethic, highly motivated with collaborative mindset to work effectively in a team.
• Able to project manage, communicate and liaise effectively with collaborators and consultants.
