About the Job

We are looking for a dynamic and forward looking professional who has a track record of building employee capability and engagement, full spectrum of HR admin management and improving processes.

Leading a team of 3, you would need build capability in your team and inspire others to improve the way we do things. A strong administrator yourself, you should have experience with improvement projects using approaches such as business process re-engineering, lean management or leveraging on IT to increase efficiency and effectiveness. A strong communicator, you will need to be a team player and work well with multiple parties such as operational heads as well as our HQ colleagues. You will also need to be good at change management and yet patient when change is not able to happen fast. Emotionally balanced, you are able to be firm but yet supportive when needed

Managing your team, your key responsibilities will include general admin to ensure excellent functioning of the CYG corporate support and the meeting of children's homes licensing and funding requirements, employee engagement and organisational development, full suite of HR administration covering recruitment/retention, maintenance of employee records, supporting DHQ HR in payroll accuracy, talent management and staff development.

Details of key responsibilities are as follows:

1. Lead HR and admin team in a way where processes, admin and HR practices are effective, efficient and of high standards
2. Conduct regular reviews of SOPs and Admin processes to realise efficiency gains and improve effectiveness
3. Ensure that statutory, government and funding requirements of CYG and children's homes are met for admin and HR.
4. Be a thought partner to the management team on HR and admin matters.
5. Oversee a full spectrum of HR admin including:
   • Support in manpower planning.
   • Recruitment and retention of talent to meet operational needs.
   • Employee relations including staff grievances and displinary issues.
   • Support DHQ in compensation and benefits matters including ensuring accuracy for payroll and benchmarking.
   • Capability development plan and execution.
   • Plan and facilitate appraisal processes
   • HR admin work such as records, reports and training administration.
6. Manage employee engagement and organisational development to enable a positive and conducive culture.
7. Ensure support for management meetings and timely preparation of statistics, reports and surveys.
8. Undertake assignments and projects as and when required.

• Degree in Human Resources Managemant, Business Studies/ Administration/ Management or equivalent.
• Candidate must possess at least 5 - 10 years of similar working experience in a mid to large-size organization with a fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reviews and advises on contract terms and conditions.
• Review project scope and conduct cost negotiations.
• Conducts project cost control and administers project budget monitoring to maximise profits.
• Handles work-in-progress monitoring, preparing the WIP reports (revenue vs costs vs physical completion), and progress claim certifications.
• Handles variation or change request claims, additions & omissions review and cost substantiation.
• Documentation preparation for tender bidding, submission of relevant cost spreadsheets, and profitability analysis.
• Documentation preparation for project opening, closing, bill settlement, and profit-taking.
• Manage contractual dispute matters amicably with the relevant internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage and prepare all contract documentation and agreements, as well as provide support in the drafting of contractual/dispute letters.
• Liaison with legal counsel and/or lawyers relating to contract arbitration and/or litigation.
• Identifying project risks, defending claims, handling disputes, and managing resolutions.
• Works closely with Managerial Accounting Manager to produce budget forecasting, half yearly project cashflow review.
• Monitor the cost of all phases of planning and construction with the parties concerned.
• Work closely with Business Units in preparing monthly updated project progress and costing.

• Maintain strategic relationships with existing vendors and channel partners, with a view to grow our “Marketing Services” portfolio
• Partner with the company’s strategically assigned vendors to drive brand, product awareness, and growth
• Drive channel sales and increase market shares through effective and modern marketing to increase the visibility of our products.
• Drive end user and channel marketing - Search out new channel partnership opportunities to help drive business growth. Explore various agency collaborations where applies
• Drive partner- and end-customer-driven integrated events and roadshows, both digital or face-to-face where applied, with all necessary marketing levers that enrich event experiences and work with necessary regionally aligned resources from ideation to execution. Identify agreed success KPIs and follow thru successful execution. This needs strong collaboration and execution skills working with Product Managers and vendors, leading with modern marketing techniques and technologies where applicable
• Working with the Intelligent Digital Marketing (IDM) team, develop end-user Marketing Campaigns, primarily digital, to increase influence with end-customers, generating the intent base for specific campaigns
• To participate in the Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) generated by the campaign
• Maintain a pipeline of approved and funded projects towards the P&L Measurements
• Using business intelligence data and to track effectiveness and identify new opportunities or strategies
• Xvantage: lead program management standpoint working with digital lead and various regional counterparts towards launch and execution strategies defining growth. A thorough understanding of Xvantage and articulating the value proposition externally is important (Training will be provided)
• Work with relevant departments to produce high-quality marketing material for promotions and product launches
• Modernize marketing through digital and new-age marketing techniques.
• Assist with resource and budget optimization before all necessary executions; timely and proactive call out of gaps and recommendations along the journey towards effective closures

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field. Degree in marketing a plus
• Direct channel marketing experience (8-10 years preferred); though leader in Tech is a plus.
• Speed in execution, rolling up your sleeves where needed, working collaboratively with the team in many instances
