About the role

Key Responsibilities:

As a Manager, Purchasing, you’ll be responsible for:

• To ensure that the Material Productivity objectives are met for Direct Material and General Procurement activities. Ensure that the cost reduction project management is clear to prevent E&O.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for full spectrum of Human Resources functions across the group of companies, i.e. Recruitment, Payroll, Compensation & Benefits, Welfare, Performance Appraisals, Induction & Exit Clearance, etc
• Process work passes application and liaise with immigration on foreign workers related matters.
• Assist in managing and controlling employee benefits utilization such as leave, medical benefits as per HR policy & guidelines.

Requirement

• Prepare detailed bill of quantities, and list out accurate accounting of various quantities to ensure that the quotation conforms to the design drawings and specifications

• Able to advice and propose based on extra knowledge - Hydrology and Hydraulics, Material Science, Land and Soil Analysis, Geotechnical Research, Underwater construction, Earthwork survey

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering.

• Minimum 7 year(s) of working experience in the construction projects

• At least 3 years in bridge construction project

• Experience with Marine Project will be an advantage

• Willing to work on site

• Ability to clearly particulate expectations

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit & Civil 3D BIM application.

• Able to supervise and lead the survey team for handling all survey related issues.

Job Purpose

Provide strong technical expertise and leadership in Process Development of project transfer and start-up. Responsible for areas of the Frontend processes. Work closely with team to ensure successful implementation of project. Lead and/or support the team for new product transfer I development, equipment design, processes optimization and qualifications efforts. To ensure compliance to ISO/FDA, cGMPs, HSE regulatory requirements.

Accountabilities

• To lead process development aspects of project implementation to deliver results within projected timeline, excellent execution and documentation.

• To lead user requirement specification (URS) development for processes equipment and liaise with vendors on technical discussion.

• To lead design reviews for processes equipment and work with global/ R&D team to develop and transfer the technology to site.

• To develop and execute equipment and processes validation approach / plan.

• To lead and execute new equipment and processes installation, optimization, commissioning, qualification and validation.

• To proactively communicate project progress, key issues and any other critical topics in a timely manner to the appropriate management level and vendors.

• To ensure compliance to cGMPs, IS013485 / FDA, HSE, and policy requirements.

Requirements

• Education: Minimum Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automation) or relevant discipline or equivalent.
• Experience: 8-15 years working experience in contact lens or optical device manufacturing or similar environment.
• Good understanding of processes automation system, vision inspection system, robotics and GMP/GDP requirement.

Accounting and Reporting:

1. Review, ensure timely and accurate reporting of Malaysia entities accounts (including audit schedules, sales report, monthly analysis, budget etc.)

2. Assist to perform group and entities’ monthly closing into HQ Chinese Reporting system and ad-hoc accounting reports.

3. Assist to meet the Group Chinese Reporting requirements and deadlines.

4. Assist in performing Annual Budget for Group and Entities.

5. Assist in performing Year-End Closing for Group and Entities.

6. Assist to complete the minor reports required by HQ China.

7. Assist day-to-day operation accounting as and when assigned.

8. Assist the superior in ad-hoc reporting tasks as and when assigned.

Treasury Matters:

1. Assist the Group Corporate Treasury functions on daily basis.

2. Preparation of Group monthly Treasury report and HQ Chinese Reporting treasury report.

3. Preparation of weekly cash balance report.

4. Preparation of monthly cashflow forecast for the Group and Entities.

5. Assist Treasury System (Si Ku) matters as and when necessary.

6. Any other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

1. Degree in Accounting or equivalent.

2. Able to read and write report in Chinese for reporting to HQ is a must.

3. Possessing financial audit experience in an audit firm is an advantage.

4. Experience in treasury and reporting function is an advantage.

5. Analytical skills in the development of data-driven reports are a plus.

6. Demonstrate ability to manage time and prioritize projects to meet deadlines.
