As a Storeman/Driver Assistant at Fox Enterprise Pte Ltd, you will play a vital role in our operations. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the loading and unloading of goods from delivery trucks.
• Ensuring accurate handling and storage of all inventory in the warehouse.
• Delivering products to clients safely and efficiently.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and delivery vehicles.
• Performing inventory checks and managing documentation related to goods received and dispatched.
• Assisting in the preparation of delivery routes and schedules.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is a bonus.

Duties & Responsibilities

• To achieve the overall business objectives of the Project/Construction Section.
• To assist the Senior Project Engineer to conduct kick-off, pre-project/project meetings to ensure team members is clear on the objectives, deliverable, Quality, Lead-time, and Safety, requirements, construction and complexities; that carried out the detailed projection execution and contingency plan if any.
• Plan and assist the Senior Engineer to monitor the daily progress of activities to achieve on or before schedule, i.e., by comparing the planned vs actual progress status, identify critical activities.
• Preparation of engineering documents, such as work instructions and progress reports/data, hand over status.
• Together with the execution team prepare the statement/work procedures, RA to specify the detailed work step required for the specific task of the job to be done and identify key risk with the associate risk. A risk mitigation strategy is applied with the whole project construction task.
• Calculate usage of resources, such as labour hours, materials and tools, and other costs to make comparison with budgets and report prognosis to the Senior Project Engineer/Project Manager.
• Understand and evaluate the project requirements and project plans particularly, materials, schedule, equipment and labour loading.
• Assist the Senior Engineer/construction superintendent in assigning tasks to work teams.
• To explain the site situation, technical requirements, project specifications, special engineering requirements, coordination procedures, execution approach and activities priorities to the various work teams to seek contributions for further refinement.
• Ensure that various disciplines (including quality and safety personnel) are carrying out each tasks and tests/inspection in accordance with specification and standards as per the contractual requirements.
• Assist in resolving engineering issues at site, coordinating with the respective engineering support units and referring to the Construction Superintendent for guidance, if necessary report discrepancy (if any) on labour status, equipment, materials etc. to the Senior Project Engineer.
• Prepare the necessary documents for any additional works of V/O’s, F.I. etc.
• To update the project portal regularly.
• Ensure, monitor and maintain site billing and invoicing comprehensive process flow/procedure for client and subcontractors/APs.
• Together with the Assistant Engineer prepare and submit the monthly progress billing to clients
• Carry out other duties as and when assigned by immediate superior or higher management.
• Preparation of project close-out report for the Senior Project Engineer/Project Manager to review before submission to clients.
• Ensure final acceptance of the project by client in accordance with contractual requirements.

Qualification & Experience Generally Required

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Civil/Chemical/ Engineering or its equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience in the same capacity, preferable in similar or related industries.
• Good technical competency
• Good Communication skills; both verbal and writing in English
• Knowledge and application of planning tools such as Primavera P6/P3, MS-Project is essential.

Your role necessitates the maintenance of a professional image, consistently reflecting the company's mission and vision.

In addition to your representational duties, you will be entrusted with managing a team consisting of marketing specialists and assistants based in Singapore. Your leadership will be pivotal in ensuring the team operates at peak performance, aligning their efforts with organizational objectives to deliver exceptional results. You will also be responsible for effective marketing strategies tailored to both local scholars in Singapore and the wider scholarly community across the APAC region. You will cultivate relationships within the scholarly community to amplify MDPI's presence and influence within the academic sphere.

In essence, your role encompasses not only the strategic direction of marketing initiatives but also the cultivation of a cohesive team dynamic and the establishment of professional relationships vital to MDPI's continued growth and prominence in the academic publishing landscape.

Key Responsibilites

• Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies, encompassing both online and offline campaigns, to enhance MDPI's presence in Singapore and the APAC region.
• Conduct in-depth research on industry trends and competitor activities, utilizing findings to refine marketing strategies and regularly reporting insights to the regional director.
• Supervise content creation across diverse social media platforms, elevating awareness of MDPI's journals and bolstering its standing within the scholarly community across the region.
• Serve as the company's representative at key academic conferences overseeing booth setup and ensuring seamless on-site operations.
• Coordinate overseas scholar visits, managing all aspects of planning, communication, and administrative duties.
• Lead the expansion of the marketing team in Singapore, including recruitment and performance management, fostering a culture of innovation, productivity, and teamwork to achieve organizational objectives effectively.
• Work closely with local managers at MDPI Singapore to implement innovative marketing initiatives tailored to the Singapore market.
• Cultivate strong collaborations with fellow marketing managers across the APAC region, leveraging collective efforts to strategically engage with the scholarly community.
• Ensure the smooth daily operations of the marketing department, prioritizing efficient execution of strategies and tasks with a focus on achieving targeted outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, or a related business discipline; Master's degrees are preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience, with exposure to managerial roles.
• Demonstrated strong leadership abilities and effective communication skills.
• Prior knowledge in academic publishing is advantageous.
• Previous experience in client interactions or client-facing roles is beneficial.
• Proficient in both oral and written English; proficiency in multiple languages, such as Chinese, Bahasa, Thai, Malay, Japanese, or Korean, is advantageous.
• Preference for previous experience working in an international environment. Relevant experience in marketing for APAC region is definitely an advantage.
• Self-driven, creative, and oriented towards achieving results.
