Project Title: Enhancing the equity ecology to support disadvantaged students: a preliminary study on school-community partnerships

Project Introduction: This project aims to contribute to the understanding of school-community partnerships in Singapore, noting their impact and challenges thus far to contribute towards a typology of partnerships which could have policy and practice implications in terms of how an eco-system of support could be enhanced leading to educational change and holistic student outcomes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in education, Sociology or a relevant field from a reputable University. Master’s degree preferred.

• Prior experience working with schools or social sector organisations

• Prior experiences in qualitative research projects preferred

Possess good verbal and written communication skills

• Experience building rapport with different stakeholders

• Good organizational skills and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

Job Description

• To support on Engineering FPSO & FPU Projects schedule central planning
• To follow up on P – Series Improvement initiatives and implementation of lesson learnt
• To monitor topside engineering document submission status and analyse topside six-week lookahead file submitted to KBR.
• Prepare weekly report to include topside engineering status verified by Seatrium, identify gaps (if any), Status of overdue documents and open comments. Rate of closing document comments etc.
• Project Report shall be provided to Seatrium engineering management team and relevant discipline leads to follow up
• To assist on Projects resource management, Engineering management and digitalisation
• To assist on all project engineering coordination related activities

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Marine Engineering, Shipbuilding, Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering or relevant apprenticeship training in a marine trade
• Knowledge of various workshops dealing with specialised works in the industry
• Able to perform scheduled night duties when required
• Attend to vessel’s needs during weekends and public holidays
• Travel within the country or abroad for ship check
• Good knowledge of marine industry skills in any discipline
• Knowledge in Hull,Mechanical, Piping & Electrical will be advantageous
