The Role

Reporting to the Global Controller, you will oversee global revenue recognition for a key business unit within the organization. In this role, you will collaborate with Global Sales, Operations, and Corporate Accounting to analyze complex commercial deals and determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment. Your responsibilities will include managing deferred revenue, conducting revenue reconciliations, and preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue reports and analyses. Additionally, you will work with the Accounts Receivable department and global sales teams to monitor monthly AR status and minimize overdue AR.

You will stay current with accounting standards and regulations specific to revenue recognition and ensure compliance with IFRS. Last but not least, you will have the opportunity to lead process enhancements, finance systems upgrades, and contribute actively to the development of new and improved revenue reporting processes and procedures.

Your Profile

As the successful candidate, you will possess a Degree in Accountancy or ACCA with the following relevant experience

• At least 6 years of experience in revenue accounting/revenue recognition within a high tech manufacturing MNC
• Strong knowledge of revenue recognition regulations and IFRS15
• Proven regional and/or global exposure

We are looking for a meticulous and organised Senior Executive to head our Library. Our Library is as old and as dynamic as our firm, with physical and online collections. You will be expected to manage and harness our library resources, and head the library services rendered to the entire firm and our network of firms.

You will be expected to:

• Manage the library resources, including all subscriptions, acquisitions, cataloguing, with a focus on online resources.
• Liaise with vendors on subscriptions and acquisitions in relation to quotations, orders, subscriptions, licences, and invoices.
• Keep track of library expenditure and usage of library resources and prepare regular reports with relevant statistics.
• Prepare an annual budget for library expenditure.
• Keep up with developments on legal information resources, including the use of technology.
• Run training on the use of the library.
• Work closely with the Knowledge Management team on legal information resources.
• Assist with legal and other research.

Requirements:

• A law degree / legal training is not a requirement, but may be advantageous.
• Prior experience in managing information resources, may be advantageous.
• At minimum, a diploma in any discipline.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Meticulous and methodical, with an eye for strong attention to details.
• A quick learner, able to handle complex tasks.
• A good team player with good written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications especially Excel, with a willingness to learn new technology.
