Our client are global life science lab instrument and equipment manufacturer and tester.

Role: Assistant Engineer

Duration: 6 months renewable contract
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am – 6pm
Location: Marsiling

Responsibilities:

• Updating and maintenance of Assembly Procedures.
• Assist in part/component measurements.
• Assist in running engineering evaluation – collecting and compiling engineering data.
• Coordinating/tracking non-conformance parts movement
• Support CO (Change Order)/PCA activity.
• Ensure compliance of operations within area of concern with all relevant EHS regulatory requirement and company safety policies, procedures and guidelines
• Other duties/ ad hoc tasks as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

• Preferably someone that has Diploma/ITE in Mechanical Engineering.
• Relevant experience in lean manufacturing environment will be an advantage.
• Positive attitude, open mindset and team player. Effectively work with people and coordinate with external vendors, suppliers and contractors.
• Effective verbal & written communication skills across all levels and function within a multi-disciplinary product development environment.

Responsibilities:

Staffing

Work with the hiring managers on manpower requests and ensure timely filing of vacancies.

Manage the entire recruitment process, including candidate screening, onboarding, and offboarding. This includes but is not limited to advertising positions, conducting interviews, securing job offers, and managing internship programs.

Administer MOM work pass application, renewal, cancellation, and other related matters.

HR Administration

Maintain and update employees’ p-file in SharePoint, ensuring information is accurate and current.

Requirements:

Diploma/Basic Certificate in Human Resource Management or equivalent.

Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in a similar job scope, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
