Job Description

• Assist in the full spectrum of AR duties which includes invoice preparation, sales verification, month end closing and reconciliation.
• Prepare and process documents such as Invoices (Credit Terms & Cash Terms) & Credit Notes.
• Perform tracking & monitoring of collections & payments including updating of Aging list for dissemination to Sales team for follow up.
• Reconcile outstanding payments, billing disputes, discrepancy.
• Prepare & process Purchase Order (PO).
• Assist in the full spectrum of Stock duties which includes daily stock movement, monthly and year-end stock take.
• Ensure AR/AP/GL transaction into the accounting system timely and accurately

Job Requirements

• LCCI Certification or Diploma in Finance or Accounting
• Proficient in MS office applications
• Highly organised, strong time management with the ability to prioritise
• Ability to work independently and is a good team player

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities: -

* Replaces the Restaurant Manager in his absence.

* Assists the Manager in the preparation of staff schedules keeping in mind anticipated business, existing budget, and standards of service.

* Assists the Manager to meet monthly financial objectives by forecasting requirements; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions

* To have complete knowledge of local laws, customs, and company policy.

* Attends F&B and other meetings as required.

* Performs training to all staff members of the outlet and assists the Restaurant Manager in identifying and carrying out required training needs.

* Holds pre-meal and monthly communication meetings. Encourages open communication

within the department and a free exchange of ideas.

* Open and close areas ensuring all duties are complete and all are locked.

* Monitor all staff performance, appearance, and hygiene.

* Liaises with the Restaurant Chef in daily fooddelivery and presentation.

* Liaises with other departments ensuringcommunication and the resolution ofproblems.

* Monitor trends in practices by reviewingtrade literature, networking with colleagues,and visiting competitors.

* Inspects areas for cleanliness, properstorage of equipment, and supplies.

* Control of all menus, dessert menus, winelists, and beverage menus in perfect condition.

* Control of all flower arrangements (if any),trolleys, and displays.

* Explanation of daily specials and menus inco-operation with the Chef.

* Performs a warm guest welcome andseating.

* Responsible for the following of theestablished quality standards as well aspolicies and procedures.

* Ensure adherence of all staff to safety,sanitation, and hygiene policies.

* Maintains constant communication withEngineering to ensure repairs are completedon a timely basis.

* Anticipate guest needs and resolve guestproblems. Answers guest questions andcomplaints quickly and efficiently anddetermine if a more senior manager needs tobe involved. Records complain and action istaken.

Requirements:

* Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in theF&B industry

* Preferably with 1-2 years of Managementexperience

* Ideally someone with experience in anItalian Restaurant

* Possess drive & passion to excel in the F&Bindustry

* Strong communication, problem-solving,motivational, and people skills

An established Regional Wholesale Bank is looking to further establish their presence in Singapore is looking to for an experienced finance professional. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparation and checking of the Branch’s MAS regulatory reports and make adjustments, where required. Work with Head Office teams and system vendor to maintain an automated solution for MAS Regulatory Reporting.
• Assist with monitoring of daily regulatory ratios and requirements for the branch (e.g. Asset Maintenance Ratio, MLA & MCB) and preparation of the daily regulatory reports.
• Assist with preparation of journal entries and detailed subaccount ledgers. Ensure adherence with Accounting Policy and Head Office requirements including performing checks on invoices and receipts for payments.
• Review of Nostro reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of unreconciled items.
• Assist the Department Head in taxation matters, including corporate tax computation and GST related matters.

Knowledge & Experience Required:

• Experience in Singapore bank regulatory and financial reporting preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business.
• Good Excel skills.
• Able to work independently and with multiple stakeholders.
• Positive attitude, good team player and willingess to collaborate within and across teams.
