The incumbent will provide administrative support to the Department of Pharmacy, Faculty of Science. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following -

• Work closely with Programme Director and Dean's Office to take charge of the end-to-end administration of the postgraduate research-based PhD and MSc programmes throughout the student lifecycle, including student admission, handling student enquiries, student module registration, managing programme website, etc.
• Collaborate with the Programme Director and Dean's Office to manage the programmes' admission cycles to upkeep the programmes' quality.
• Manage the administration of the programmes' examinations, including PhD Qualifying Examinations and PhD/MSc thesis examinations.
• Monitor students' progress under the Graduate Assistance Programme (GAP) and Thesis Advisory Committees (TAC).
• For Assistant Manager level: Applicant at this level would be expected to oversee the portfolio both strategically as well as operationally with minimal supervision.
• Provide other administrative support to the Department as deemed necessary.

• Academic qualification: Masters/Bachelor degree from a recognized University, preferably in Sciences.
• Prior working experience (minimum 3-5 years), especially in an administrative position in the higher education sector, would be advantageous.

• Changing of backup tapes based on predetermined schedule
• Preparation and compilation of team and customer weekly and monthly reports
• Process internal and external service requests including physical access, DNS changes, MS, x-connect and etc.
• Inventory Management for physical network infrastructure, x-connect.

Main role is to ensure items received from vendor are in good condition with sufficient quantity in accordance to the delivery order/note. Good receive to WMS then SAP system. Ensure all documents received from vendor and GRN printed must have proper filling for audit purposes. Receive scrap items from in-plant and ensure the weight of each pallet are tallied. Arrange assigned vendor to collect the scrap item and ensure the PN and quantity must accordance to approved quantity.
