The Centre for Biomedical Ethics (CBmE) was established in September 2006 in the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine through a generous gift by the Chen Su Lan Trust. CBmE, directed by Prof Julian Savulescu, is a thriving centre for learning, teaching and research relating to ethical and legal aspects of healthcare and biomedical sciences. We are responsible for the development and delivery of the Health Ethics, Law and Professionalism programme through all five years of the undergraduate medical curriculum in addition to the postgraduate and continuing professional education courses in bioethics. • Proficient in data-related tasks

• Excellent in quantitative research methods (such as SEM) and proficient in the use of SPSS or other software such as R, Mplus, Stata.
• Excellent work planning and time management skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Able to multi-task and work under pressure in a changing environment
• Good communication skills (e.g. inter-personal skills, ability to present findings to different stakeholders)
• Strong interest in research in the forensic and rehabilitation field
• Self-motivated: Able to work well both independently and as a member of a team
• Passion for high-impact research

The main responsibilities of the position include:
Running simulations, doing real data analysis, and proving theoretical guarantees for causal network recovery algorithms.
