• Registered Resident Technical Officer with IES / ACES.

IT Officer

About the role

Reporting to the IT Assistant Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day IT operations which will require you to support administration staff, teachers, and students.

You will be responsible for asset tracking, tech refresh, software, hardware, and application support.

You will be responsible in ensuring that all IT policies set by your reporting manager and regional office are strictly adhere to. You will be responsible in liaising with external vendors with regards to equipment that requires repair and servicing.

You are also required to support events that requires IT support and be responsible in ensuring that all AV & media equipment are well taken care off.

To assist the IT Department leads and the IT department in daily operational support. To act as liaison with teachers and key stakeholders to support daily IT helpdesk requests.

You are also expected to perform other Ad-Hoc duties assigned to you by your reporting manager which may require you to report or stay beyond your normal working hours.

Education and Experience:

• Diploma / Degree in Information Technology or its equivalent. Certification in ITIL and CompTIA+ would be advantageous.

We are looking for a research officer to apply biomolecular modelling methods, including homology modelling and molecular dynamics, to understand the molecular mechanisms of coding variants that are associated with type 2 diabetes.
