We are seeking a talented and driven Social Media Executive to manage our presence on My Little Red Book (Xiaohongshu), a leading Chinese social media. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging content, analysing metrics, and developing strategies to increase our followers and improve engagement rates, tailored specifically to the Chinese market.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation & Management:

• Develop, curate, and schedule high-quality, engaging content tailored for My Little Red Book (Xiaohongshu).
• Create and manage a content calendar that aligns with marketing campaigns, product launches, and company events.
• Collaborate with the design team to produce visually appealing graphics and videos that resonate with the Chinese audience.
• Collaborate with other marketing executives to re-purpose existing content from other platforms to cater to My Little Red Book’s audience.

Strategy Development:

• Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and website traffic.
• Monitor and analyse social media trends and competitors' activities to identify opportunities for growth.
• Create and execute social media advertising campaigns to reach target audiences.

Community Management:

• Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and manage online discussions in a timely and professional manner.
• Build and maintain relationships with influencers and brand ambassadors on My Little Red Book to enhance brand loyalty and reach.

Analytics & Reporting:

• Track and analyse social media performance metrics using tools
• Prepare and present regular reports on social media activities, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
• Use insights from data to adjust strategies and improve overall performance.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with the marketing team to ensure social media activities are integrated with broader marketing initiatives.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather content ideas and ensure consistent brand messaging.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Social Media Executive or similar role.
• Strong understanding of My Little Red Book (Xiaohongshu) platform, algorithms, and best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese (Mandarin).
• Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms specific to the Chinese market.
• Creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging content.
• sStrong organiational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

Job Responsibilities:

New Business Development:

• Identify and prospect new clients for car rental services, including corporate clients and individual consumers
• Generate leads through various platforms to create awareness of the company’s car rental offerings
• Develop and execute strategies for market penetration and customer acquisition in new and existing segments

Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients
• Provide tailored rental solutions and recommend products that suits clients’ needs
• Foster repeat business by delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring client satisfaction

Sales & Revenue Generation:

• Meet and exceed sales targets by closing rental deals and driving revenue growth
• Work closely with the sales team to develop and implement promotional strategies and seasonal offers
• Negotiate terms and pricing for corporate accounts, group rentals, and long-term rental agreements

Market Research & Analysis:

• Conduct market research to identify customer needs, emerging trends, and competitor offerings in the car rental industry

Brand Promotion & Marketing:

• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement targeted advertising and promotional strategies

Customer Service & Support:

• Serve as the main point of contact for high-value customers, ensuring a smooth booking and rental process
• Resolve any issues or concerns during the rental period, ensuring customer satisfaction and encouraging repeat business
• Assist in managing customer feedback and using it to improve services and offerings

Reporting & Administration:

• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and customer interactions
• Track performance against sales targets
• Prepare contracts and rental agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and terms

Requirements:

• Diploma in any field
• Experience not required
• Must possess Class 3A driving license (with min 1 year experience)
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills is preferred
• Ability to build and nurture client relationships
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Knowledge of the car rental industry, fleet management, and market trends is a plus
• Able to converse fluently in mandarin for mandarin speaking customers
