Responsibilities:

• Liaise with intermediaries/clients on enquiries, renewals, endorsements, etc
• To analyze the premium income for each month with reasons for increase/decrease of premiums for department reporting
• To undertake risk surveys, if required
• To quote in accordance with the Company's underwriting guidelines
• To assist accounts department in premium collection including fronting policies
• To enhance the service quality of the Japanese Business
• To establish customer benefit services with vendors
• Provide customer service to Japanese clients on their inquiries, requests, complaints and claims matters
• Plan and organize visitations to clients (new business/renewal/claims happenings)
• Develop good relationship with clients to maintain and enhance existing clients’ business
• Plan renewal strategies for Japanese corporate clients
• Prepare referral form, issue Cover Notes and collect of premiums
• Maintain clients’ details and information

Requirements:

• Min 1~2 years of experience in General Insurance industry or Insurance Brokerage firm
• Min CGI/HI or relevant insurance qualification
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office application.
• Possess good communication, multi-tasking, organization skills

Job Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Conduct cold calls to schedule meetings with potential clients and prospects.
• Build and nurture relationships with existing customers and prospects to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
• Prepare and deliver engaging product demonstrations and presentations to clients.
• Create and provide sales quotes to customers.
• Negotiate contracts and terms of agreements to close sales.
• Set sales goals through effective forecasting.
• Offer support, information, and guidance to customers.
• Establish sales forecasts and review personal sales performance to meet or exceed targets.
• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to build strong relationships.
• Work effectively as a team player in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist in executing the sales strategy outlined by the Sales Manager, including tactics for promoting repeat business and upselling.
• Work with internal teams, including technical support and product development, to ensure customer needs are met.
• Maintain and update the customer and partner/supplier database as needed.
• Track the progress of all inquiries and compile a monthly report as requested by the Sales Manager.
• Ensure all customer interactions are handled in a customer-centric manner.
