Ensure that the handling of hazardous cargo in DHL Global Forwarding is consistently compliant to all legal guidelines and requirements. The Dangerous Goods Manager is responsible for making sure safe and compliant handling of Dangerous Goods according to global protocols in coordination with relevant stakeholders within a specific region.

This also entails functioning as an intermediary between the global DG team and the country organisations as well as monitoring consistent training.

The role is responsible for both Air Freight and Ocean Freight and requires active collaboration and alignment with the operations functions in both products.

Key Tasks

- Collaborate with global Dangerous Goods manager to facilitate needs and requirements from countries within specific region

- Support countries with implementation of global Dangerous Goods standards and their individual training needs

- Monitor application of global Dangerour Goods standards, identify gaps or non-compliance issues and work with relevant stakeholders to address them

- Provide support on issues and problems for less established country organisations

- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards associated with the handling and transportation of dangerous goods within the region. Alert risks to global team and implement strategies to mitigate risks.

- DG user management and coordination on regional level

- Produce regional DG reports as specified and agreed on with global team

- Collect feedback from country organisations and align with global team to ensure continouus improvement of functional processes

- Monitor changes in DG regulations on country and / or regional level and notify global team if impacting global framework / processes

- Lead regular update meetings with country DG managers across the region to enhance communication across geographies and ensure regulatory compliance

- Align with regional Marketing & Sales for Dangerous Goods specific matters

Roles and Responsibilities

• Organize, prepare, and coordinate the Board of Directors (BOD) and Operational Meetings twice a year, consolidating reports and documents for these meetings.
• Prepare translations of documents and reports for Japan HQ Top Management, corresponding with corporate divisions at Japan HQ, such as Corporate Division Group, HR, and other relevant divisions.
• Reform the Performance Appraisal system to enhance employee performance evaluation and establish an optimal evaluation framework.
• Analyse and review the salary benchmarking system across the Asia Pacific group offices, aligning with Japan HQ practices and standards of process.
• Coordinate and drive the M&A project, particularly in HR areas such as due diligence, organizational integration, salary and remuneration optimization, and business process and operations analysis.
• Provide training and development for Kyocera Philosophy education, establishing a training system that integrates with the evaluation system, including job level-based education and promotion qualifications.
• Liaise with Japan HQ HR to support expatriate staff stationed in the group offices across the Asia Pacific region.
• Support expatriate staff relocation, including visa applications, moving arrangements, and orientation within the group offices.

Requirement

• Minimum of 5 years experience in Human Resources role, specifically in a regional role (managing office across Singapore, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam and India) within a Japanese company.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent qualification.
• Knowledgeable with Kyocera philosophy, with experience managing Training and Development related of Kyocera Philosophy education.
• Skilled in organizing corporate meetings with top management from the Japan HQ.
• Familiar with labour law and experience in handling labour law-related matters in Asia-Pacific regions and compliances (e.g. Immigration laws, Personal Data Protection Act).

1) To ensure system design and shop drawing submissions are in accordance to specifications.

2) Plan and monitor all system design and shop drawing submissions to ensure submissions are accurate and on schedule.

Job Responsibilities

· Responsible for all BIM modelling works.

· Organize and plan a design works to meet construction schedule.

· Provide leadership and manage the team members in a professional manner, e.g., allocation of work, providing guidelines to them in drafting to maintain the quality, improving productivity, checking drawings and cutting list profiles etc.

· Ensure design, drawings, and all other deliverables meet the standard requirements, specifications and within scope of works.

Duties and Responsibility

· Create, develop & update BIM model either from scratch or existing supplied 2D CAD or PDF drawings.

· Ensure model quality and identify any conflict between disciplines.

· Generate & update Revit-based plans, sections, elevations and details that can be used as design analysis, tender drawing, drawing for Authority submission, shop drawing, fabrication drawing and as built drawing.

· Generate 3D centre-line model for structural Engineer to perform analysis.

· Maintenance & implementation of company’s BIM standards, Facade template, contents and library

· Any other ad hoc duties as assigned by Supervisor

Knowledge, Skill and Abilities

· Must have at least basic knowledge in Facade design. Experience in BIM submission to authority is must.

· Proficient in Revit. Knowledge in other BIM software is added advantage.

· Must have a good time management.

· Must be able to work with minimum supervision

· Must be knowledgeable, keen and observant in worksets and worksharing function of BIM.
