Design the software architecture of a Multi-Robot Management System (MRMS); ensuring scalability to manage a large number of Heterogeneous robots. The incumbent would also be required to work on applications within the MRMS and to ensure applications developed by other team members are according to specifications. This role reports directly to the Head of Autonomous System of Systems Strategic Engineering Centre.

Objectives of this Role

· Developing and updating software architecture a Cloud Native MRMS, for deployment on public and private clouds.

· Working with the Product Owner of the MRMS on the product roadmap.

· Lead the product development effort;

o Ensure the applications assigned to other team members are developed according to specifications.

o Developing some applications for the MRMS.

· Maintaining and updating the software stack for the MRMS.

· Advise/train team members in cloud native architecture design

Required Skills and Qualifications

· 5+ years of experience in two or more of the following areas:

o Cloud native software architecture design.

o Distributed software development.

o Cloud based robot fleet management.

o ROS and ROS 2 or any robotic middlewares.

· Highly proficient in one or more programming languages, eg. C/C++, Python, Golang and JavaScript.

· Experience in the following areas will be advantageous:

o Working on Linux (Ubuntu/RedHat) and Windows OS.

o Working on MySQL or MSSQL database server.

o Working with communication protocols like WebSocket, Restful API, Open DDS or protobuf etc.

· Excellent interpersonal and communications skills

To take and carry out site supervision in accordance to the Project specification and BCA ACT & Regulation, and to the requirement of the contracts with the client.

To supervise in accordance to the Contract Specification and relevant Authorities. To assist the Superintending Officer, SO Rep and/or SRE/RE in all aspects relating to the construction of the projects.

Work closely with RE / SRE on day-to-day site operations.

Must be literate in English and have a good knowledge to use computer, computer software and MS Office.

Registered with JAC as a Resident Technical Officer.

RTO Certificate accreditation by IES/ACES.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation and dependencies and drive project execution from initiation to closure

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent with min. 7 years of experience in IT Project Management in the financial industry
• Experience in managing the entire software development practices, various development methodologies and implementation
• Experience in managing deployment of IT infrastructure, such as systems & networks and cybersecurity solutions
• Experiences in major IT infrastructure & cybersecurity system updates, upgrades, OS hardening and migrations
• Constantly keep abreast of latest technology changes to maintain deployment and operational efficiency
• In-depth knowledge on Project Management/Business Analysis
• Possess strong leadership, capable of managing stakeholders and maintaining relationships in large scale projects

Requirements
