The Project Engineer is responsible for ensuring proper adoption of resource, quality and risk standards as well as managing project profit during the project lifecycle. He/She coordinates all administrative processes related to a project eg reports, claims, payment of invoices, including the final project handover documentation. He/She typically comes from an engineering industry/background and is able to identify and report project-related issues as well as suggests changes related to quality, risk and administrative processes.

He/She has good communication, customer management and negotiation skills for engaging with both internal and external parties to coordinate project activities between organisational departments and teams during the various phases of a project, as well as managing sub-contractors to ensure they are integrated into the project and adhering to technical requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Portfolio Implementation Management Senior Associate is a crucial part of the broader Investment Team and our Client’s experience coordinating all portfolio operations and inquiries. Central operational point of contact for investment teams and clients

• Serve as a key operational resource for the investment team and provide additional support as needed including investment and client relationship management activities

QUALIFICATIONS

• BS/BA with 3-5 years of experience in the financial services industry. Experience in portfolio-related operations is valuable. Knowledge of alternatives particularly private equity & hedge funds preferred.

Work Schedule:

• To lead a team of supervisors & skilled workers to carry out their works accurately and timely and to ensure that works on site are carried out according to client requirements

As a Senior Project Engineer, your main responsibility is to lead, supervise, execute and coordinate project activities together with a group of Engineers, Technicians and sub-contractors leading to successful project completion. You will monitor and control projects on schedule, within budgeted cost and quality and safety standards. You will also work closely with the consultant/owner to ensure the project is delivered according to requirements. As a senior, you are also required to perform system programming and troubleshooting during project implementation.

You should possess a Diploma/Higher Nitec in Electrical and/or Electronics in any Engineering related courses, with 3-5 years’ experience in site supervision and coordination with owner, main contractors, and subcontractors, must have experience in alarm, card access and CCTV system installation knowledge. The Project Admin Officer supports the Project management team and performs project-related administrative functions. This includes preparing quotation/progress claims, proper recording of contract/project documentation (Work order, Delivery order, Invoices), following-up of claims approval, requesting for quotation and negotiating with sub-contractors/suppliers for the best costs, ordering supplies as well as act as the second point of contact (on behalf of Project Engineers) for client enquiries.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contract, Project & Filing management, preparation of purchase order, variations & final accounts and generation of cost control and reports
• General administration support to project team and assisting the project manager in working out the quantities for variations and progress claims
• Prepare monthly progress claim, vet/recommend and prepare clients’ payment certificate for management approval
