This is an Investment Analyst role reporting to the Head of Equities Research. The individual will be part of the Equities team under the Investment group. The analyst for this position will be based in Singapore.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Produce investment research reports with actionable investment ideas for the firm’s equity portfolios as part of the firm’s Equities Research team.
• Generate alpha and investment ideas for relative and absolute return portfolios for the sectors, industries and countries assigned. Country coverage will primarily be the Indian market across all sectors. Other secondary coverage includes ASEAN. As a Senior Project Engineer, your main responsibility is to lead, supervise, execute and coordinate project activities together with a group of Engineers, Technicians and sub-contractors leading to successful project completion. • Conduct pre-boarding discussions with the captain and chief engineer, introduce the route conditions, clarify voyage fuel consumption indicators, and guide vessels in speed reduction for energy savings.
• Assess and evaluate the fuel consumption, oily water discharge, and seal management of owned and chartered vessels.
• Review fuel and lubricant fuelling documents and inspection reports; for disputed fuel quantities or quality concerns, provide feedback to the relevant departments for resolution and follow-up, maintaining records.

REQUIREMENT

• Educational Background: Associate Degree or above in a relevant field
• Work Experience: 5 years or more of experience in fuel, lubricants, or engine management for vessels
