This role will report to Head of Global Macro.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

· Manage macro fixed income portfolios with an active approach

· Track record of translating Fixed Income macro views into positive alpha across DM and EM principally in Rates and FX markets

· Formulate and construct directional and relative value investment strategies in Rates and FX

· Develop the firm’s global macro and broaden global fixed income capabilities

· Work closely with other fixed income team members and collaborate with the broader Investment Group to assess investment opportunities in the macro portfolios

· Contribute to the investment process including strategy formulation, portfolio construction and mandate compliance

· Support business development efforts, which may include marketing pitches to prospects and clients

· Work with Business Development and Product to identify solution to clients/investors (with consideration of clients’ risk profile and investment objectives) and help to further grow fixed income AUM

Education Qualification

· Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or a relevant discipline

· Preferably a CFA charter holder

Experience and Skills

· 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in managing capital from hedge funds/proprietary trading background

· Strong understanding of risk, portfolio construction and cross asset correlation

· Possess deep understanding of global fixed income, particularly on global FX and rate markets

Besides start-up support and career mentoring for junior faculty, their Ph.D. students are funded by the school rather than paid from their research grants. SCIS faculty members are encouraged to collaborate on innovative research projects and also on integrative and interdisciplinary projects. SMU as well as Singapore government agencies, such as the National Research Foundation, provide generous support for high-quality research proposals.

A noteworthy example of our funded research is the Center for Research on Intelligent Software Engineering which conducts applied and fundamental research in the intersection of software engineering, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. In the area of Cybersecurity, SCIS has a Centre on Security, Mobile Applications and Cryptography that conducts research into mobile device, cloud, and platform security.

Our Education. SCIS has more than 100 students enrolled in the Ph.D. in Information Systems and Ph.D. in Computer Science programmes. Ph.D. students can specialized in any of our computer science research areas, or in the Information Systems & Management research area.

Our Doctor of Engineering (EngD) programme, a Professional Doctoral Degree, aims to train students to become IT leaders with deep technical expertise for innovating, designing and managing complex IT systems.

SCIS also offers Master of IT in Business, a professionally oriented coursework programme, which has more than 400 active students. The programme supports a Financial Technology & Analytics track focusing on FinTech and the integration of Technology & Operations in Banking, an Analytics track focusing on applied analytics for business, consumer and social insights, an an Artificial Intelligence (AI) track that emphasises building AI-enabled business applications, as well as a Digital Transformation track that equips students to strategise and execute digital transformation in complex organisations.

What you will be doing

• To Lead and supervise a team of technicians, facilities attendants, and lifeguards to be efficient and effective in maintaining the Club’s facilities, building and equipment through routine checks and strategising for preventive maintenance;
• To ensure the Club property & assets are well maintained, in terms of general maintenance, facilities and safety in compliance with government statutory guidelines;
