We are looking for an experienced Data Manager to oversee the development and use of data systems in ADVANcing Clinical Evidence in Infectious Diseases Network (ADVANCE-ID)

ADVANCE-ID is jointly funded by the Wellcome Trust and Singapore institutions including the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health and Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. The vision of the Network is to improve public health by developing the clinical evidence base for the prevention and treatment of drug-resistant infections. Its mission is to build and sustain a strategic clinical research network focussed on most efficiently delivering locally relevant interventions for drug-resistant infections.

The Network aims to improve and strengthen clinical research capabilities in the region by acting as a platform to develop good principles and practices. It will stabilise capacity and capabilities to mitigate inefficiencies in trial start-up phase and loss of skillset following study closure, as in typical trial setup. The Network will continuously develop its capabilities, quality and efficiency by learning from and collaborating with other clinical trial networks.

In the long term, the Network aims to support broader infectious disease studies by expanding geographically beyond its original starting point in South East Asia and collaborating with other networks around the world. • Candidate must possess at least an Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in any field
• Preferably with 2 years of working experience in the related field is ideal for this position.
• Deep understanding of workforce management, including volume & headcount forecasting, performance monitoring and processes/system optimizing and etc
• Proficient skills on EXCEL and good at data analyzing, familiar with formulas and Pivot Tables. Experience utilizing SQL, HQL and WFM systems is a plus
• Good communication skills, information analysis & interpret capability (ability to present detailed technical analysis, assumptions, and recommendations succinctly).
• Excellent problem-solving, task prioritization, follow-up, and quick learning skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with dedication, passion and motivation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and the language of the supporting market

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Experience:
  • Proven experience managing multiple Windows servers
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT operations and maintenance
• Knowledge:
  • Strong understanding of on-prem server management, including VMware
  • Ability to independently develop system design and procedure manuals
  • Familiarity with managing cloud servers
• Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to escalate issues promptly and collaborate with the team leader for proactive improvement
  • Experience with workarounds and root cause analysis
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain internal systems and developed bank customer servers
• Develop and maintain operational documentation
• Perform general operations tasks like access log reporting and patching
• Coordinate with vendors and manage contracts (software licenses, hardware maintenance)
• Handle user inquiries and maintain positive communication within the team
