NextWave Partners are looking for an experienced Project Manager, with strong communication sills in both written and verbal English and Mandarin, to lead the management and delivery of Renewable Energy Projects across Asia, notably Taiwan in the first instance.
About the role:
Orchestrates customer engagement, ensuring meticulous adherence to scope, time, budget, and quality expectations. Implements strategic planning, meticulous control, and efficient management of customer projects.
Oversees corporate, customer, and third-party vendor initiatives for planning, selling, and implementing bespoke solutions to address customer challenges.
Assumes responsibility for both business and team management, focusing on project experiences pertinent to the IT industry, encompassing on-premise infrastructure projects for Compute, Storage, Network, off-premise Cloud, relocation, and data migration.
Role / Responsibilities:
- Steers the delivery of customer projects, ensuring alignment with revenue objectives outlined in the Impact section.
- Assumes control of large/moderately complex/local or sub-region projects with a focus on managing medium/high-risk projects and addressing legal and commercial issues of moderate complexity.
- Manages project financials, including P&L, exceeding SOAR approved budgets and providing accurate financial forecasts to the management.
- Drives business development, identifying and cultivating new opportunities within the current project.
- Supports the qualification and assessment of opportunities, especially those of a large and moderately complex nature.
- Takes on the role of an opportunity manager for medium to high-risk deals.
- Oversees client relationships, serving as a representative of the organization to external customers/clients.
- Leads the project team, efficiently managing internal and external resources with a team size of fewer than 20 people.
- Mentors and cultivates the skill development of project team members, providing comprehensive performance reviews and guidance on areas of improvement.
Requirements:
- Holds a First Level University degree.
- Possesses a distinguished track record of 3+ years or more in project management or analogous roles within the Consulting/Business services realm.
- Demonstrates an intricate understanding of key company Services' operational policies, processes, and methodologies applicable to project management.
- On the PMP Certification path.
- Exhibits technological proficiency with Compute, Storage, Network, and Operating Systems such as Linux, Windows, VMWare, Containers, etc.
- Displays adeptness in managing multiple projects concurrently.
